Keep in mind especially for more intensive command macros that lag can be an issue. I could never get one of the more intensive macros to work myself. I always just would get the busy crafting thing. There are alot of things that could be causeing it as stated above, but there has been some other tweeks in the system. A month ago on my alt the datapad was chronically locking up my game trying to pull up data. I suspect that the devs did take them time to simplify the system somewhat so that there would be less lag and easier use.

Maybe try removeing any unused draft schematics you might have from your datapad.

Try removeing the helper droid if your saddled with one.

Try randomly picking numbers till you draw the item you want to craft.

In my oppinion though you might just want to invest the time into doing it manually. Which you should be doing anyway since all afk crafting macros are considered exploiting.

i just started using this and after a little trial and error, it seems that sorting the schems in your datapad does indeed do nothing. someone mentioned something about new schematics that you've acquired. it appears to me that those new schematics are put at the front of the list. i just got novice weaponsmith and i've been grinding metal staves. I tried sorting the datapad and doing /selectDraftSchematic 53 (as it was 53 or something on my list) and i didn't get anything close. Then I tried sorting them backwards alphabetically and did /selectDraftSchematic 06 (as it was now 6th on the list) and got the sword core, which made me think... so i started at 01 and worked my way up. all the schematics were to be the ones I had just gotten for novice weaponsmith. eventually at /selectDraftSchematic 08 or something, i found my metal staves.

so enough rambling... in conclusion, it appears that the newest acquired schems are at the front of the list. so if in the past you were grinding metal staves at 08 and then got munitions I or something, (in theory now (but mind you, communism works in theory)) you'd have to add the total number of newly acquired schems for that box in order to find the right number for the metal staves. (sorry that was more rambling)
