Thread: /selectdraftschematic broken these days?
Hi all,
I haven't been doing much WS grinding these days. I finally managed to mine a cache of bad steel so I could grind projectile rifle barrels for a bit, and I found out that the /selectdraftschematic command will not select that particular draft. In my list, it's number 179. I found that any draftschematic number over 170 would skip straight to trying to craft a chemical dispersion mechanism, which is 180. I can't craft anything by command until the 2-handed axe. Everything else defaults to that dumb chemical dispersion mechanism. Anyone else noticed this problem lately? I'm wondering if receiving the vehicle draft schematics bugged this somehow...
Thanks,

I dunno... the /select is fine, but it seems that its /nextcraftingstage thats been nuked.
Instead of counting from the beginning... find the Chemical Dispersion Device in your Datapad that it's pulling up, and then count forwards or backwards (most likely backwards) to the Projectile Pistol Barrel or Projectile Rifle Barrel that you're trying to craft. Then, just add or subtract that number to you the schematic value in your macro.
One thing to remember: If you learn more skills, you gain more schematics in your datapad... so it will change the schematic number, and you have to re-count based on the schematic it pulls up. Even though it's worked in the past, if you have learned new skills, you will have acquired new data schematics, which would change the numbers of the barrels.

I realize that different schematics require the presence of a crafting station. Please note that I mentioned in the beginning that the schematics are right next to each other; the barrel is #179, the chemical dispersion is 180. ANY schematic number I put in, from 170-180 results in pulling up the chemical dispersion device, regardless of whether I am in the presence of a station or not.
My suspicion is that the addition of the vehicles to the Master Artisan template somehow messed up the schematic numbering system.
The vehicles schematics may have inserted themselves into the number-line, but I haven't notice anything stop working. I am still able to select my PRB, nextcraftingstage still works for me, and my grinding macros are working like a charm.
I had to futz with the schematic # to re-find the PRB, but it's still working for me.
Thing is, I noticed early-on that items that are next to each other in my datapad are not necessarily in sequence with each other. They are usually close to each other in sequence, but only sometimes are they sequentially lined up.
My suggestion:Work your way backward from #170. My suspicion is that the computer feels that your chemical dispersion device is #170, and anything above that will be the same.
Hope you manage to find it!

You se, thats the problem here.. your still thinking by the old system... Nowadays they changed the ingame gui so that EVERYTHING SHOWN is in alphabetical order, NOT the order you aquired the schematics... BUT when your trying to use /selectDraftSchematic it goes by the old system (that is still working, but you can not se)
Problem here basically is the devs made a beutyfing "fix" but as usuall forgot to incorperate it into the entire game system, completly breaking Crafting macro..
