as far as the crystals go, tell me why everything dealing with our quests should require no outside help when virtually everyone else's quests require it? the pilot trees eventually require grouping. high level caves require extra combatants to help you finish. i see that as balanced as far as difficulty goes. i actually had some just give me 5 crystals. perhaps you could just buy them from other players...


and i will continue to post this tag at the end of my opinions... if the rest of the community disagrees with me and sees this as a problem, let me know and i will take it to them. otherwise, i see it as a non-issue, unless the reward is as bad as is stated (which i previously thought but someone corrected me, so now we need some extra verification).

I will try and get a few more of the crystals and see if the stats are better on the sixth try on the knife. I know the first 5 weren't that good, but if it's supposed to be better now I will give it a try. My only question is, is this schematic a limited use item?

Modified Republic blaster does not have acid damage like the regular one (glitch? dont know).


The design of the tangle pistol should take a rifle barrel, despite what folks say. Take a good hard look at it, guys. Keep the rifle barrel on it.


Able to turn in melee crafted weapon points at the village, but not ranged weapon crafting points. (known issue, i heard, I might have missed this and it might be fixed with update 17).


The Nak'tra crystal knife actually stinks on stats- either pick it up, or have Threesh give us a Nak'tra Crystal Rifle or carbine schematic on top of the paltry 6K (killing those beetles was a bugger).


Weapon scopes- this is a carryover from pre-cu. When i put a scope on a weapon, i expect it to show up. Doesnt do so all the time, but is a bit better (FWG5 still missing scopes about 75% of the time).


In completing Advanced Weapon stocks- it appears that once you get above 475 SR on the Corellian Deciduos wood, it just doesnt matter on the stats...Tried different combinations. SR varied about 125 points. All cameoutthe same...




Weaponsmith Etiquette:

1. Never brag about how many "points" you have- someone is always better- Let your weapons speak for themselves.

2. Dont sell something as Krayt or Enhanced if it doesnt have the stuff in it.

3. Assembly bonuses are more important than experimentation.

4. Dont price gouge (No weapon is worth more than 100K, I dont care what it is- You tick off Noobs and lose potential

customers.

was just at the village , couldnt trade in melee, or ranged weapon xp , wasnt this meant tobe fixed in pub 17?

actually, i am not sure if we listed this as an issue. i will get it in with the next bug list...

maybe, maybe not, but i will ask. there is a damage bonus to the modified, so that may be why there is no acid elemental. then again, it could have converted the elemental into the dmg, which would give us a nice idea of how elemental factors into weapon dmg...

I'd like to add something, for what ever reason XG mines do more damage then DRX mines. DRX mines use a Medium Warhead, a Warhead Stabilizing Device and a Warhead Fusing Mechanism, but the XG mines uses a Light Warhead and a Fusing Mechanism.


Personnelly I wouldthink a Medium Warhead would make a bigger Boom then a Smaller one? Maybe its just me but it dosen't make any sense.

Well apparently most people who have finished this get the change in schematic once theyve delivered the 5 knives so it requires some resources and a swordcore.


I however never got the change in the schematic, but Ive blamed it on me doing it the first day, thinking the quest was bugged. I made a ticket about it, but they just tolld me to wait.


Dont really care to put to much effort into this issue as the kniives are level 40 only and melee weapons, so noone will really use them anyway. Still id like a fix to my issue, cause I really hate not being able to make what I should be able to.


Then again I havent seen more than one person besides me complaining about this issue which is why I didnt put it on the list the first time around (seeing its more of a personal issue than a profession issue) Thou if more people have problems with this quest then hurl it up there cause I want my schematic to

Dont really care to put to much effort into this issue as the kniives are level 40 only and melee weapons, so noone will really use them anyway.

On the contrary- I make plenty sales on lower level melee weaponry including Vibro, Massasi and Blaster knucks. The demand is there, trust me on this. Wanna-be TKM's really like these goodies and they do benefit using those at the lower level. I've spoken with a few TK's, some who are grinding toward Master, some who are already there and beyond,and they have all said that they drop the knucks once they are at least 3332. Takes alot of grinding and, since the weaponry now appears not to deteriorate as fast, they are apparently turning them in used at the bazarrs and passing them to others, spreading my name even more...
