God forbid that you actually have to do a miners job you get resorces.

Maybe you should pay a miner to get resorces for you, and thus a little thing we call "the enconomy"

Here's an idea. As a weapons smith you want to make weapons, right? So you set up Company X. Company X need resorces and facilities to manufacture goods, so... Compnay X contracts Company Y to obtain resorces and Company Z to build "purchase deeds" the facilities. So now all the footwork of maintaing havesters is negated leaving you time to build your weapons, study the market, and advertise goods.

That only works if the miners don't think that they have to make a 400%+ profit on everything...ie charging 3k for 500 units. Of course if we raised our prices accordingly and bought at that rate...the miners would take that as "ahhh, I must be selling too low, I keep selling out" and raise their prices, which starts the whole cyclead nauseum. Not to mention as a rifleman you would be crying about how much you have to pay.

I spend probably 3/4's of my income on resources, but it is hard to find steady suppliers. And we might as well have our own mines if we are going to have to run around to 5 planets to pick up the measly amounts we can pick up on the bazaar.

Maybe one should actually be a weaponsmith before one makes 'suggestions' to weaponsmiths.

And maybe you should try weaponsmithing before you start telling us how we should do our jobs.

Resources only spawn for 7 days or less on each server. As a weaponsmith, I am tracking the spawns of over 20 named resources for up to 4 different traits. Do you think your local miner (non weaponsmith) will realize the signifigence of these resources?Do you think they will realize the importance of anOstrine Carbonate Orespawn with an 700 OQout of the 20 different types of ore which spawn, when there are over 50 different resources onthe servers at any one time?

Basically any miner who is not a weaponsmith will not be able to react fast enough to get the needed 90% of the needed resources for the profession. Therefore, most weaponsmiths do their own resource gathering. Or manage that effort.

Sorry I didn't mean to flame, but I just here a whole lot of bi*chin about nerfs, and if all the weapon/armor smiths do all there own resorce gathering then what good is to be a miner, in order for a balanced market place to exist there needs to be supply and demand. Looks there is a huge demand now communicate to achieve the supply, sure you'll pay more then if you went and got it your self, but it sounds like you don't want to do it yourself because it takes up too much time.

Think about how easy this is going to become when they introduce vehicles...

Oh and another thing, I'm not sure how many of you out there are on the intrepid server, but your quests for the best resorces to make the best guns is really f*cking up the market, I have been trying to get a simple DLT20a rifle for days now, and there were none posted on the bazaar in the whole galaxy, and no weapon smith would make one or had one in stock. Everyone sells really high end stuff or really low end stuff they grinded.

Is Ford just supposed to sell a mustang??

Seems on Flurry harvesters are back to pre-patch. I bought some personals off bazaar and they had 2KG/hr rate and 25k hopper. Also, had some in my inventory that were giving 1KG//hr when I examined them yesterday and now they are showing 2KG/hr when I examine them.

Well....you have a keyboard...you have some fingers.....and you have an in-game chat mechanism. I can't see whats so difficult about telling the miner what you want!

Any miner who is worth his salt would make it his top priority to know what his customers needed anyways. I have noticed a growing number of "contract" miners in Tempest atm. Basically, you spot a resource you want.......you tell the miner how much of it you need. The miner then goes out....finds a good spot.....harvests how ever much you wanted and delivers it to you. Fantastic.

No running around.....no harvester maintainance......no surveying......just weaponsmithing. Granted, this arrangement is only great if you have the money

When the patch hit I was on vacation, so all of my harvestors and generators were deeded in character inventory. When I check them yesterday, the mineral extractors were exactly the same as pre-patch (so maybe they fixed that back), but my fusions had extraction rates of 17+ with capacities of 360,000+ (one had a capacity of 390,000+).

I planted one of the generators just to see if it would revert back to pre-patch stats, but itretained the17 extraction and 360,000 capacity ratings. Then I redeeded it and planted it again, just to be sure, and it still retained the improved stats. I'm going to test a couple of them tonight to see if they actually have extraction rates of 17 (/fingerscrossed), or if they really pull at the pre-patch rate of 13.

Well, I figured it's a bug (even though it worked in my favor)so I did a /bug on it. I haven't heard back yet, but it's only been a day. I'm really hoping it isn't a bug and I get to get them, but that's probably too good to be true, hehe. I guess it just goes to show that not all bugs work against you.
