Thread: Best T-21's out there
I had a krayt T21 made for me on Scylla last week. I don't know what quality resources were used in the rifle, but I know the 11 krayt tissue i supplied the smith were 30max -0.3speed. The unsliced weapon was
127-408max 7.0 speed. 74 mind ham cost. 27% wound chance
after a 21% damage slice the weapon is
158-498max 7.0 speed 74 mind ham cost 27% wound
Thought the weapon should have had better stats than it did fresh out the oven. Oh well I'll have to find a better set of krayt tissues and the right resources to make my T21 when i finish master weaponsmith thanks to holocron #4...

Yeah.... its hard to get a damage slice Krayt 21'.
I made 2 of them and had them sliced... one was a 28% the other was 18%.
Damage was up in the 600-700 range after powerups were added.

You sure that 43 is right? If that's the case, that means your gun was in the 9 second range or so before slicing. That would have been an awful gun to begin with.

Either that or big typo. 43% is NOT possible for weapons. Armor maybe, but the max on weapons is 35%. The last thing I want is some holo WS asking me for 43% slices! Ugghh.
Unfortunately, it was a mediocre slice but only because it was for speed.
Why, you say?
When my alt was a Master Sharpshooter he fired once per second. Speed slice, speed powerup, both useless to him. In the hands of a Master it's only useful if it's sliced for damage and then it becomes one of the most powerful weapons in the game. I used to use 4 T21's in abattle with 33% max damage powerups and I could go through all four powerups on one tough mob (i.e. battling 3-4 force sensitive characters with 60-80% resists to everything on Dantooine). Needless to say, I went through rifles at an alarming rate.

i like mine when i play my master rifleman guy. its funny with this gun and beign a master rifleman i dont even have to use specials anymore. with 80% kinetic compostie armor i can stand in the middle of 4 graul maulers and not take dmg and kill them all without using specials. it made mastering ranger a breeze

Maybe not... T21 uses a number of rare resources. Making them at all may be a challenge, let alone save you "bundles".

These are the unsliced stats of the ones I offer:
131-360 damage 7.1 speed
173-402 damage 7.6 speed (with my special stock)
133-372 damage 6.8 speed (this is unsliced, non-krayt, was a lucky schematic)

Yes I am aware of the rare resources required to make T21. Alantium Carbonate Ore, Gallorian Rainbow Gem Crystalline Gemstones, Ditanium Steel, Polonium Iron...
I currently have a decent stockpile of the gallorian and ditanium steel that is suitable for use in the T21. Just waiting for a spawn of some decent quality of the others... I didn't harvest that Alantium that spawned on Scylla a few weeks back, that might be my downfall. My original plan was to collect everything to make them and con a master weaponsmith into making them for me. It might help me out, since by the time i get to master hopefully I'll have a decent little stockpile of each one that I need.

I did not double slice it, the speed did suck on the rifle when it was built. It was 7.8 before the slice. PLEASE DO NOT EVER ACCUSE ME OF A DOUBLE SLICE! I just wrote how it was crafted. It was a 33% slice, I apologize for the typo.
I have been a weaponsmith since the beginning and slicing since I got weaponsmith. I believe I know what I am talking about. It was a krayt +98 Max, -.5 tissue. I added a stock, so total to max/min would be 30/128, with speed on krayt being negated (.528 (stock) + -.5 (krayt) = .028 spd). My base T-21's max around 380ish depending on which materials and rainbow gem I use. I threw all into dmg for a change, rather then 1 or 2 to efficiency (like Ham below a 100 on mind), that was because I had a weird moderate success that added to max dmg and added to speed, any weaponsmith has had weird results with moderate success wrecking almost any guns base stats.

I apologize for any inconvenience this caused to any weaponsmith or smuggler. I hope clearing up the krayt used and the addition of the stock helps clear things up on the numbers. I was just responding to someone's request on the boards and the success (luck) of the T21 I made. I know 11 krayt's at 98 max was kind of a waste, but I had a hunter before the krayt increase dropping off 13 tissues a day of varying stats, when I saw 11 of the same serial, I could not resist.

Sounds like a very nice gun. I just coughed at the 40-something slice percentage.
