Of course you love crafting, so do I, can you make money selling for as low as 10 cpu, sure you can, but thats not my point, we are taking about less than 5 here.
Sure he is retiring and its a very nice thing to give your customers a goodbye present, but you know what, weaponsmiths get burnout all the time, I'll bet a smith retires every month on Lowca and its probably the same on most other servers, If everyone decided to dump on the market, it would have an effect, just most don't do this.
Just for your information I sell my T21's for 20k which is well below what most charge, this isn't a greedy smith issue.
Anyway, this is a game, anyone can play the game how they feel fit, and I can come here and post whatever monkey crap I feel like.
and o_rly, what the hell are you talking about? The whole problem was thathe is advertising, thanks for trolling, ass.
Seems to me that you're the ass. "The whole problem was that he is advertising"? **edit**, he's not allowed to advertise? Or is it that he's advertising his low prices? If that's so, well, then, I demand that you cease advertising because OMG 20k for a T21 that's so undercutting everyone!!! /rolleyes Puh-leez.
The server population is....what would you say. I'd say probably 5000 at least and that's likely an extremely, extremely low estimate. So whoopedoo, he sold off 50 T21's at 3k. Assuming 5000 people on the server, now one of every 100 people has a new T21 that will last them a little while until it randomly breaks ona repair.Flooding the market? No.
So, I still fail to see your issue. My own sales certainly haven't slowed down any.....hell, I just finished off a run of six thousand power handlers to start a full new run of weapons, including 400 T21's. Am I worried about not being able to sell those because he went and "dumped" _fifty_ at a low price? (Hint: The correct answer is no...they seem to be my fastest seller by a long shot.) My prices certainly are not quite as low as yours - my last run was 28k, and I'm going to bump that up to 30k on my new 405 maxes...no idea what I'll sell the 415 maxes at, yet, but it's still not an unreasonable price.
So. Yeah. Where's the problem here?

I've never seen so much whining before. /cry
I think the fact that you've attacked him for just going about his business makes you the troll, Ybagi.
You don't like what he's doing? Tough **edit**. He can, he has, and others will too.
The K-mart here in town went out of business, put everything on sale for over a month until all the stock was gone. Do you think it affected sales at Wal-Mart? Not by much since now Wal-Mart is the only store like that in town now.
IOW, short term it may affect your business...long term, you are still in business and he isn't.
As far as prices go, personally I see everyone shooting themselves in the foot. Looters want uber weapons but charge outrageous prices for the weaponsmiths to buy the needed components/skill tapes, thus prices for the weapons are higher than they need to be because of greed.

That aside...architects make a stack of cash.....
I'm assuming you've never tried your hand at architect... I've been an architect since about three months after launch and while my sales have experienced some great trends (hologrind), they have for the most part remained stable. I'll admit, I do well to support my spending habits, but its important to understand that while architects have the (ability) to make "stacks of cash", it often comes at a price.
To give you an idea, it is not uncommon for me to go through 500 walls per week sometimes. I cannot keep up with the demand for walls with the 40 lots I have from my 4 accounts as not only am I a master architect, but I'm also a master weaponsmith. Most of my resource mining is devoted to weaponsmith since obviously its easier for me to buy crap ore and other materials to make architecture components than it is to buy the highest quality weaponsmith resources. But that aside, because of the high demand, I have to "hire" others to either mine ore for me and sell at disgustingly low prices, or I buy the walls already assembled. When you're talking about paying 8K per wall, and going through 500 walls per week, thats 4 million credits. Granted, I'll make that back in no time, but it is not a cheap profession.
Its also unfortunate that architects can not spend 50cpu for a deed. If architects were allowed to charge the same as weaponsmiths, you'd be paying over a 1mil per heavy harvester deed. Ain't that some sheet.
Ah well, this weaponsmith that drew so much attention will be gone soon if he's not already, so all of these threads about him are really a non-issue.Lets just let him sell his junk and move on so we can **edit** about something else. ![]()
