I think 3 of 4 krayt t21 got speed slices, my exceptional did get a dmg slice though

I have had good on slicing my high end weapons and getting damage slices. With krayt T 21s 8 out 10 damage slice best being 609 max. On De 10's 3 out 4 damage 467/468/512. My most recent was a Krayt Jawa 409 max.

Have 1 customer over last 4 weeks, 7 krayt t21's...7 speed slices.....needless to say he's going insane

i have made 6 krayted flamethrowers all getting damage slices.....i have made 11 Nym vk's all getting speed slices.....i don't believe its all random as the dev's say it is..Ceasar

I crafted my alt 3 krayt t21s using:
+67 tissues
+84 tissues
+135 tissues
inaddition, i used looted blaster rifle barrels which are better than the advanced we can craft on naritus.
the best t21, came out at 550 max dmg, unsliced. after slice, its still 550 max lol.
the only thing i can say is that because i loot the tissues myself, it wasnt that bad. but one can dream i guess...i could have been running around with a 900 max t21...anti decay.

The mind set for slicing needs to change. As I mentioned it is a gamble, if you do not think the weapon or armor you are buying unsliced is worth it as is then you shouldn't buy it. Far too many people buy things with the thought that a certain slice will give them xx.
ummm using this website http://killyourpc.org/swg/swg_dps.php i am currently (Pistoleer 0043, BH 0040) speedcapped for any pistol at ANY speed ... 2.0 speed ... up to 99999 speed ... i was a 0002 pistoleer w/ 0040 BH and master marksman and i had 94 (possibly 96, not positive) pistol speed ... it caps at 100 meaning that if you have BH w/ that little bit of pistoleer you are basically capped at all specials 1.0w/ that 94 speed i was speedcapped for all pistols up to around 4.3 (which is most pistols unsliced excluding de-10) ... not trying to be an ass ... just stating things ive experienced : )
Not everyone has BH pistols with pistoleer, and if you don't have BH pistols, you need all the speed you can get. Remember, a lot of the true die-hard pistoleers are tripple-threat templates. In fact, if you have BH pistols most people will just get 0040 pistoleer anyway (dizzy/KD def, eyeshot with a geo).
Then get a melee prof for the mitigation and the jedi killing.And it's true, there is no curse. The difference is that when you get a speed slice on something krayt or acklay you tell all your friends and curse at the sky. When you get a damage slice you tend to maybe rub it in a couple peoples' faces and either put it on the bottom toolbar (for special use
) or on the vendor for the super pricetag.
