Thread: The Bottom has fallen out of my market

my high end sales have actually gone up, but i have furthered taht by advertising these forums to players who are not on accounts here and running auctions. high end players are always looking for a better gun than what they currently have. you just have to keep in mind what the big money people have so you can contact them when you beat what they currently have. for instance, i crafted a weapon today that beats the 948dmg 81SAC scatter one guy bought. he now knows about the 948dmg, 65SAC scatters i will be auctioning and has his eyes glued to the screen just waiting to upgrade his pistol...
in the old system you didn't have to market as much. now, you have to constantly keepthe work out there about your stuff.
Hate to be the party pooper, but I hope you get a lot of money for those new scatters. IIRC, they appear to cap both max damage and SAC. So once he buys one of those scatters, he'll just put an ADK on it and never need to buy another one.
I didn't mind ADKs much in the pre-CU system, because there weren't any caps. You could always get a better tissue and make a better gun. But now it's so easy to hit the hard caps with good tissues. Once someone has a maxed out weapon, they won't ever need another one again.

Honestly, since the CU, business has been extremely high. The amount of weapons I sell per day is insane. Even after RoTW, the sales have increased. Ranged especially is a hot topic on Bloodfin. All the NON-Jedi PvPers come to my shop on a regular basis. I probably sell 50 weapons every hour. Multiple that by 24 hours, thats a lot of money in my bank
wow, 50/hour?
How do you stock so quickly?

50/hour = 24 x 50/day = 1200/day. At an average price of 50k? Thats 60mil per day...
At that rate, he'd supplytwo or threeweapons to every player on his server in a week.

Yeah, it certainly doesn't seem to be a sustainable rate.
Another reason for the sales drop off is the fact that weapons now decay at a slower rate than they did preCU. This is because of group hunting, it now takes a smaller amount of shots on a target from each player to kill a mob and get full XP than it did preCU.
For example, my rifleman alt has grinded just about 4 million XP with his current T21 and the weapon has only dropped about 300 points of condition. PreCU to grind 4 million XP you would have had to repair the weapon at least once or be very close to needing a repair. This T21 I'm talking about still has over 600 condition left on it, and it's never been repaired.
