Thread: How many smiths out there actually use stocks and barrels in crafting?
I use Scopes in every weapon that requires scopes.
Stocks I only use by customer request.

I use a stock in EVERY gun i can unless the person asks me not to, its only .2 more speed, does 32 more min/max damage, and only adds about 20 to HAM, take off your comp helmet i say
Is that a standard stock or an advanced? I was playing around a bit with standard rifle stocks today using SR 691 wood and 965 steel, which is about as good as the materials can get, since wood caps at 700, and I couldn't get any better than +12 damage and .4 speed (plus the 20 HAM). Didn't seem worth it.
Of course, I'm an Expert, not a Master. Do the extra three experimentation points help that much?
all the peeps who post their stats are master (probly) so just compare what you are making to them and ask yourself if it is worth it
i think it makes a huge difference
Some ordered a t21 from me. I suggested a stock(to make it look bigger)
person was happy corse i sold the gun for 10k
First of the buyer didn't care about the stats(he wanted it on a wall) used some reg power handlers and some crapy steel
socks make furniture quality guns look cool as well as scopes
I do on about half of my stuff, and I clearly state in in the name (ee3 w/stock and scope). Some people like to use these while on mounts since no specials can be used...and also since the patch of HAM uses for specials are supposed to regenerate faster, the extra hit from the stocks are good for some.
Hmm take the stock out of the crate first...I was wondering why they weren't showing up on the final product.
Does the scope and stock show up on the EE3?

It does since November patch when hand-crafted with a stock that's not inside a crate. Same limitations as scopes.
HAM costs in the patch were in patchnotes despite being removed from the actual patch a week after it went to TC. Stocks are still worthless.
YEAH, DEF USE ADVANCED not to mention i'm using low SR link-steel both resources r like a little under 700, so would be more than excited to snag some decent link-steel alum, besides, the stock is basically the same damage of low-end krayt, ignore the speed i say, slow = more fun!!!
