Well there is already a bug that replaces the weapon creators name with the slicers, does that count

Agreed. Maybe this should be our question of the week for May 5?

Actually, I slap the stats on my weapons, too, and that's not the problem I'm trying to address.
What I'm getting at is more to keep it easy to track exactly what % the slice was, who sliced it, etc.
Really I just like to have as much info as I can on items.
Also, this would really help keep track of, say, double slices and the like, and make for a really easy and quick statcomparison when looking at the weapon
Like, you see 200 - 300 damage in the damage line, and then a "This weapon has been altered by smuggler Joe, Min Damage +50, max Damage +100", so you could quickly browse.
At the very least, I would like to have the smuggler's name who sliced the weapon on the item, for a few reasons: There was an issue with a WS on Bria I believe where he had a few weapons taken away by CSRs, and he was put on probation... if the smuggler's name was on the weapon, then he wouldn't have been in trouble, only the smuggler would have been.
Another reason is, even though slicing is all based on luck, some smugglers seem "luckier" than others, and if the smuggler's name was on the weapon, then that might generate them more business...
And finally, there are a bunch of smugglers out there who have resale weapons shops (They buy weapons from a smith, slice them, and resell them). This would allow the weapons purchaser an easier time to contact the smuggler if he wanted to buy more weapons... 'Cause honestly, if you had the choice of buying a weapon already sliced with 35% in the stat you wanted at maybe 3x the price, over buying that same weapon 4 or 5 times direct from the weaponsmith, to keep slicing until you get that uber slice, I know I would rather buy from the smuggler and pay a ton more.
