In my personal opinion..l DO believe that weaponsmiths have better chance at repair.

I have only destroyed 1 weapon in the past 50 repairs.

Of course I probably just jinxed myself... but that is my discovery.

well, for all those who think it doesn't matter, just try, blow -like I did after I was told there wasn't any difference- blow a 2M worth Krayt Dxr6b rifle, using a 100% (yes, hundred percent, made during the crafting changes), then just cause you feel you got unlucky, screw another one, 4M worth rifles right up in my @nal orifice...

so I don't care who is right, who is wrong, there's no point I'd repair anything myself anymore (well.. my alt got ws so...)

grinding weapons, yes, I repair em myself, but custom weapons, nah, no way.

So then you either A. would rather see your weapon break in somebody else's hands or B. would like somebody to blame besides you when it does. Just repair it before 50% condition with a good tool and hope. It's the same thing I would have to do with my own weapons.

Repair Skill Mods do NOT work.

I've tested reapirs with my WS, my Non WS both with and without repair mods.

I dont remember the exact numbers, but as a weaponsmith pre broke repairs I had a 97% Success rate, 80% of the 97% being great successes.

Post Broken repairs I have a 80% success rate, with only 30% of them being great successes.

forgot to add, my non WS with and without repair tapes of +25 had the repair rate pre-broke repairs around 30-40% crit failure in repairs.
