Im not going anywhere, thats for sure. Only thing Im curious about is what happens to all the stuff thats on my vendors now when the patch goes live? (about 3000 items) They sure as heck better not go poof!!
they wont you jus wont be able to add anymore items till your back under your limit....
Meaning once your popular rifles sell out, you'll be left with thousands of weapons that nobody wants, so you end up pulling them off and destroying them anyway so you can list more rifles.
not thousands...more like 110weaponsif you amaster merchant. remember the ultimate max is 110 items per vender.

I think part of the change is to make crafters NEED a second account or buy lots from someone else. Think about it:
1) Who only makes 50-100 Power Handlers (or any other component) at a time so they don't take up storage space in your house?
2) How many of you don't already have your house item number maxed with all the different types of resources you need?
3) Where will you put all the loot you collect to create some of the weapons? (Geo Cubes, Cores, Schematics, looted barrels, enhancements)
4) How many more lot slots will you have to give up to put down storage houses?
5) Will you now be able to offer those rarely made weapons most people don't use so you can have a good stock of weapons people do use? (ie Vibro Axes, Tusken Rifles, Carbines and Polearms)
Something to think about maybe
Yes, I am one of those with a storage vender in my house. It sits next to my crafting station. I store all my crated components, loot items, and general items I don't have room for because I need lot space for my harvesters and factory (1 factory mind you so making things like rocket launchers take forever).
I may not be a massive seller of weapons, but I do pride myself on being able to provide top-notch weapons whenever a guildmember or friend needs it. I keep my venders stocked with almost every weapon out there. (Currently 700-800 weapons on 2 venders) I already had to give up my combat prfession of choice (Swordsman) to get Merchant so I can place some venders to begin with.
I think the time limits for venders is a good idea. My town had empty/abandoned venders for months in it, it looked so bad and I know how much it peeved customers to keep opening up empty venders. I hate opening a vender only to see nothing.
And thereby increase there demand. What happens when demand increases? Prices go up. Think 13-14k for a good laser rifle is bad? Try 20-25k when crafters know people will pay it rather than keep hunting for the gun.

The fact is if I cannot stay stocked properly my prices will go up, I will not restock more than 2 times a week. With custom weapons, and wanting to actaully play the game, having a 600 item limit wouldn't hurt me too badly but I wouldnt want to be master merchant to have it. If they limited the items to Per Vendor (example you cannot have 600 weapons on 1 vendor but only 100 on 6) I would probably just switch to custom orders only and everything would be much more expensive.
