+14 tape = 22 million
+15 belt = 32.5 million
+29 = 54.5 million which took me to very very low in the bank, but I enjoy having the extra points for the fun of being able to make better weapons and the ability to recover from moderate and such 'successes' on enhanced weapons.
Being+20 actually helps me enjoy the game more

I'm at about +9 or so, and it hasn't costed me a thing, because everything has been donated to me by my guild who's looted the stuff. I do forsee problems that lay ahead because of trandoshans notbeing able to wear gloves and boots, which are two slots we donot have to utilize. So that forces me to be choosy in what numbers I buy, which means I'll have to get +3 or higher in addidion to what I have, and that's going to cost a lot.

It costaround 50 mil on my server to become 12 pointers
However, 50 mil is a lot ofcredits for a WS.How many months does it take to make 50 milas a WS ?
I know many WS who could only make 50 mil grandtotal after playing 6-8 months.
So presuming you are selling your weapons 15k each average. 50 M divided by 15k = 3333
If the resources were100% FREE it would take 3333 sales to recover the cost. Since resources aren't free, you can probably add 30% to the number. So make that atleast 4000 sales to recover your investment. (more likely 5000 sales).
Even if decide to sell your weapons 1k each.. you won't make 50Mfaster because some of the premiumresources are 6-10 months and cost around 100-200 cpu.
Now, presuming you are using all secondary quality resources, your weapons won't be as good even with +20 tapes.
There is a market for Top quality Weapons and by making ordinary weapons you will miss that market.
* Not everyone wish to pay the cheapest. Some players want the best and to make the best you need the best resources, that means the 100-200 cpu resources which i doubt you have plenty off unless you used some sort of exploit.
As for durability, did you know thata car is meant to lastthe warranty period only ?
Every components in your car are designed/ tested in labs to actually break past the warranty time ?
i.e.: They only need to add 1 molecule to protect your car from the rust but they don't. Do you know why? It is because they want your car to get rust.
It's the same for almost everything we buy in real life. Meant to last the warranty period.
Doing costum orders is also areal pain in the neck. If you critical fail in their face they complain. If there is a misunderstanding in the deal they complain or accuse you of something you're not.
In most cases you have totalk 30 minto 1 hourin-gametoexplain and close the deal and then they check elsewhere to see if they can get it done cheaper = (waste of your time).
Each timethey askmy partners or myselfto make a weapon because they have the schematic weusually send them to our competitors. Less anoying , less burnout and more time for you to craft uber decorative weapons.

Why do have so many bonuses? That must be a lot of skilltapes. I'm guessing you already know that the highest bonus you can get is +25--everything else after that is wasted.

Spent around 12 million on tapes. Mainly the +7, a +2 and a +3.
Got the WS tool kit for a couple of 100k, then had a guldie loot the final +5 for me.
I started looking for them back in March, finished up 3 weeks ago.

I'm not quite 12 yet, but should be soon. It will have cost me about50M, and I've been a Master WS for about 3 months now. Fortunately I made 150M selling harvesters and crafting stations, so I had some startup capital.
As many have pointed out time and again, 12 points isn't a necessity, it's a luxury.

think it cost me aroung 12 mill, but a LOT of patience and some dissapointments along the way (like females not being able to wear tusken outfit and people not honoring their words in auctions). Im a proud +2 ws now and was about to scream with joy when I got there

0 creds for a +10
My roomate looted a +7 and a +3 in the Borgle Bat Cave on Rori. He stopped playing and gave me the AA, which weren't used. So I put them to good use and grinded up WS
Also, that same toon is an AS, the +10 I now have cost me 5 mil.

As people have pointed out time and time again, damage can be maxed out by a 10pt smith. Extra points gets you better range or HAM, but not enough for most people to ignore 10pt weapons.
