Thread: CU in new Expansion?
Any confirmation on that?

This article at Gamespot seems to imply the CU will be in the new expansion: There will also be an all-new combat system, complete with new weapons, armor, and user-interface.
Any confirmation on that?

The IGN article was a little misleading I think.

Amazing! How do you know it will work like this, exactly, considering that no one has actually played it yet (outside of the dev team)? I'm curious. I mean, if you're going to proclaim the sky is falling, you'd better have a piece of it in your hand already. =P

Great, as if harvesting resources on the ground wasn't tough enough as a elite crafting profession with limited combat abilities, As if it wasn't time consuming enough, now they add this "new" way to gather resources. where we have to brave slews of pirates and probably get a bunch of resources (probably like the Sith resources) which are one unit each and dont stack.
I can see how this will work.. no you don't land on an asteroid and drop a harvester. you blow it up (visions of a triangular white blip on an old atari game come to mind) and then loot a couple of resource units and fly away and blow up more asteriods.. all the while getting chased by slews of pirates.
65% of my time ingame is harvesting resources and now with this "New Mining missions" it will probably jump up to 90%.
So, after you blow up the asteroid, some little vendors start floating around, and while you are struggling with the UI, some pirates come up and shoot you in the back?
To each his own.
