I see that this requires 3 Advanced Blaster Power Handlers.
I am not a weaponsmith, but is this what Krayt Tissue goes in? If so, TKA is gonna have a nice addition to it

You get the certification at novice commando, so TKA wont get squat

The one that I saw had the MAssassi Knuckler at Novice Commando and the Blasterfist in the TK tree. Now, whether that has changed or not...

i am curious if it will accept nightsister motors. you'll notice the slot says "adv vibro motor"... if it does, you could make pretty mean freaking blaster fist with some great motors and some 100+ dmg tissue.

Hopefully someone on TC can help us out with that question. I'm very interested to see if they leave it like this, especially after the FWG5 fiasco a year and a half ago.

Pretty important issue, will NS motors work, as Mor-dan said and will geo cores work for swords etc?

Try not to confuse motors with units or everything will get confusing to newer smiths.
Unless it was an exceptional NS unit I wouldnt wsate it in a blaster fist. a blaster fist with +100 tissues would be a mean weapon for all the difference the average NS unit would make would probably not be worth doing imo. Unless ofcourse soemone handed me the units and said make me a blasterfist.
I wouldnt use one I had bought in it

Considering how a LVA will prolly be better for pikeman than a NSEL their isnt much point to making a NSEL, especially now that you have to be certed to hold it people wont buy it to use for show.

A very good point actually. I hadnt considered fact that people wouldnt be able to equip them anymore. Thats not so good :/

The NSEL is certed at master pikeman. The LVA is a lower level weapon that does about 150-200 dmg less than the VL & NSEL.
Unless something changes pretty drastically you won't see many master pikemen using an LVA.
