Weaponsmith Archive
Thread: WS hologrinders are all over the place...
...as we can see only too clearly on these boards and in spatial spam.
But just curiousabout the real Weaponsmiths as to whether you actually even read your christmas holo, what it said if you did, and if you intend to drop WS to follow it that profession.
Personally my 3 are sitting on the counter in my shop and I see no sign of them being used for the forseeable future: I simply enjoy WS too much to drop it for something that may send me toward FS slot or may not...
Mine told me to master Brawler. I'm almost there - I've dropped things here and there from every profession EXCEPT weaponsmith to do it. ![]()
Curiosity got the best of me.. mine said Master CH.
and No, I'm not going to do it. ![]()
I didn't even get to *see* what mine had to say, I sold it to help fund my grind to MWS.
I guess that rules me out as a holo-WS

heh, I had a bunch of characters I made way back when the game came out...
I didn't want to have to drop WS or anything for a holo (nor did I want a holo tell me to master something I was halfway done with), so I just used a holo on another character I had.
Was told Master Creature Handler. Yay, seems like an easy one.
However, I keep coming back to my main weaponsmith/merchant/carabineer character...
WS is now going to be my 23rd profession mastered. Ok, before any flames here.. let me say this. I know there are some professions that I definitely had no interest in. With that being said, I didn't fill the bazaar with useless pieces of @#$@. I did my thing and moved on.However, the professions that really interested me I took note in what was being said on these boards and tried to understand more about the profession as a whole. This way I don'tjust bark out "what do I have to do in order to grind through this profession?" type useless posts. Many of the other profession forums have placed"Holo-grinders read this" posts.
I've made some really neat stuff along the way during my holo-grind. Most of it I've kept, but some of it was definitely worth selling to help me along the way.
I've also met some really cool people in the Cantina during my stint as a Dancer and Musician. Even though I have done 22 profession, it doesn't feel like it.
G/L to everyone and <bow> to the real WS's

Well My Holo said Droid Engineer, I've managed to do get close to Mastering that now witout giving up being a Weaponsmith. Although I hate to admit that I'm liking building droids better than I do making weapons. I'm 3 skills away from master and I only need one Specific Named Resource (Ditanium Steel for Protocol Droid Chassis) Having to locate, keep track of and stocks of the ~30 specific resources I need to make all my weapons it's a nice change of pace... (Although I'll see if DE get's any worse up the chain).

Another week of resource harvesting and I should have enough to finish off MWS, then I can start the real grind of finding all our resources. The holo can go to hades.
I only got 2, I wonder how they desided how many to give to people. Random I think, I've had my character simcethe day after launch (literally). Anyway, one is sitting on my end table as a nice decoration. Curiousity got the better of me with the second....master Achitect, forget that! I'd rather play the game than waste my time grinding professions I don't even want.
