Thread: a quick FYI on the new republic blaster
make sure you let your customers know this! I already had a minor problem with one customer

I think the new republic blaster also requires you to be a Rebel whereas the old one doesn't.
Totally wrong. I know a few imps who have

Wow.
Thx for that info. I had envisioned this gun in the hands of every rebel bleeding us imps dry on every shot during PvP.
Good to know imps can use it too, even if its hard to get a hold of... ![]()
Hard to get a hold of?
On Intrepid there are like six million of these things. I've sold 50 of 'em myself, and given about 10 to my guild, and have a few saved up, also.
I also made about 175 Featherweight FWG5s, and have sold about 50 of those, too
And I only charge 20,000 cr a pop

Can I buy some Plumbum Iron from you? Thnx
I'm on Intrepid as well and I charge 30k for each of these but mine are faster and hit harder. I'm using rare Axidite for the Featherweights and I have precious little of it left. But my customers get a much better gun.
61-166 Damage, 2.3 Speed on the Featherweight and 68-208 Damage, 2.5 speed on the Modified Republic Blaster

I'm using the best wanderhome has to offer and I am jsut a little above yours. 61-167 2.3 on the FWG5 and 68-211 2.4 on the Modified Republic Blaster. I was very disiapointed with the FWG5. I was hoping for a little more damage. I am selling all the new weapons for 15k each.
Siymon,
I think you're selling them short. I gave a couple to a guildmate yesterday and he was absolutely raving about the Featherweight. Apparently, it's a very nice handgun.

The only Plumbum I've got is the 1000 OQ plumbum, and I'm not selling it.
Anyways, what I've heard from countless customers on my server is: An extra 3-4 damage , 0.1 speed doesn't matter if it costs a buttload more, or if they think the weaponsmith is a **edit**.
I sell my weapons through excellent customer service
That's not 3-4 damage, that's 16 damage, a *huge* difference. Anyways, my axidite sucks.
And, I've talked to a bunch of other Weaponsmiths on Intrepid, and none of them have been **edit** to *me* , however most of my customers tell me that ______ (insert random weaponsmith) was an ass to them, so they won't buy weapons from them anymore.
Xieflow,
Ahh, now I understand. I really don't get caught up in talk about other smiths with people. I don't think it serves a purpose.
The most difficult thing about our profession is getting the great resources.A reasonably intelligent person (as we both are) can figure out how to produce a quality product. I was fortunate to begin harvesting resources during November and I caught some great shifts. Had I known the value of Etaris Axidite Iron I can tell you that I'd have a much larger stack than the pitiful amount I now have. As you know, resource prices on Intrepid have spiraled hopelessly out of control. If the current trend continues there will be no way a smith can offer fair value to clients unless he/she is doing their own mining or has an established relationship with a miner. I am cultivating such a relationship as wepost. Regards.
