i was just randomly crafting stocks for some rifles and i made an adv stock with 36 min/max dmg and .189 speed on it. i didnt make a schem cause i didnt notice it until after i made it. ive been spending like 30mins trying to make another stock with that low of speed. but without luck havent been able to. lowest i can get now is .351 anyone else get some low speed stocks?

I must have made several hundred to get this result:
40/40, 0.279, 10%, ideal 11, HAM 28/28/28
Not sure how it compares with other smiths.

40 - Max dmg
+0.278 - Speed
11 - Ideal
26 / 26 / 25 - HAM

nice but ive been using mediocre resources. sr on the wood i think is like 601 and alum is 811. probably should look for some better stuff but i want that .189 speed. i ended up putting it on an e11 rifle. 130-213 4.8

You can get just about any speed on the stocks if you futz them up enough.

Yeah speed I've seen down to 0.11 I think, damage was screwed up though, like 40/0

We have some 681 SR wood on Lowca now that I was playing with abit...
the SR on the wood or metal didn't seem to effect the dmg, I could get 40-40 with any combo
the SR had a big effect on the speed, I used some crappy SR metal and my speed was limited to 0.351 about then I used some 800+ aluminum and speed dropped down to 0.278 which I could consistently get with the same metal.
as I'm writing this, do stocks really show 3 decimals? I distinctly remember .278 but I can't think of any other component that shows 3 decimals so I wonder why these do?

Min: 40
Max: 40
Speed: .275
IRM: 11
Ham: 25, 25, 25
its taking me 11pts to max out the damage line then spare point for ham , im sick or trying to hit that in 10
getting there in 11 can be a struggle sometimes aswell ,
i dont mind grinding out schematics , but im thinking i need a couple of amazings on the single points when making these to max the damage line out in 10, and amazings are not something thats as common for WS as they are in AS or Chef .
those stocks u made in the first post look like u got hit with the critical sucsess bug, ive only came across it once on a dxr-6b

crafting stocks is screwy at best. I was told to use 5 exp points first, then 1 at a time from there to get the best results. Although I've gotten pretty much the same results as everyone else here.

i hate stocks
i cant make good rifles because of em. All my stocks hit 33/33 dmg regardless of the SR, i tried using some under 350 SR wood, and some 581 SR wood, to same result
