Thread: The Weaponsmith Top 5...
**Important Note**
BUGS ONLY! Do not list how you would like more schematics, the resource equasion to go back the way it was, or anything like that. List items you have /bug'd in the order you think they are most important, such as:
The Alliance Disriptor will not allow a schematic to be made (thankfully, this was fixed)

1. Listed speed-modifier on components are off by a factor of 10 (-1.91 is actually -0.191 and so on)
2. Barrels and scopes are sometimes made visible on a weapon just like they used to be, which looks really stupid since the affected weapons now already have these visible components by default, and the scope tends to be placed in the wrong spot. This happens when crafting a weapon manually and either using a component not from a crate or when taking the last component from a crate in the crafting-interface. It doesn't happen on all weapons, just like you couldn't get it to happen on all weapons before the CU.
id say being tripple incapped going to my factories every single day is a bug
master weaponsmith artisan and merchant for the loose!
NSEL's are blast damage , and doing 0 damage to mobs or players , last one i made was a few days b4 pub 17 tho so im not 100% if this has been corrected (no mention in patch notes) , id make another one now to test , but as u can imagine its a pretty expensive test .
my only real moan/bug is the pools of xp i got from when the WS xp was split into 3 - that i canrt convert to anything useful.... dont know what the fix is - but id sure like to be able to trade it in.. ![]()

This may be more of a general crafting bug, and not major, but definitely annoying ![]()
If I am doing some macro-grinding for xp, I will be just going about my business clicking on ingredients, and all of a sudden the schematic I have been accessing will no longer be the number it has always been. This will frequently change on me, but then 5 minutes later, change back. I wish I had some sort of clue as to what was going on. As I said, this is no major bug, but definitely noteworthy if it happens to all crafters.

I don't think this is a bug. Tests have shown that some attributes, like damage and speed, have dramatic diminishing returns in the final combine. It's no longer a one-to-one correlation.Slim Vargo, Corbantis
What tests are these? Because my own research disagrees with that. Damage is translated directly - a PH with +41 damage and a PH with +49 damage will yield an 8 point difference on the final weapon, give or take 1 point in the listed value due to invisible fractions. The same goes for speed, SAC and accuracy, except that speed is divived by 10 before being added to the weapon, and since the speed stat has two decimals it's a 0.01 margin instead of a whole 1 point.
The bug isn't that the speed is divided by 10 (imagine how weapons would look if it wasn't), but that the displayed value on the component is wrong.
Just an idea, but this could be caused by someone calling up a droid with a built-in crafting station close by. I always grind with a station close, and I've never had this happening.

I think the biggest bug would have to be the component speed being off by a decimal place. This not only affects regular weapons, but if you add an enhancement it also reduces the speed bonus from that (base krayt tissue is -.03 to speed instead of -.3 as it should be).
The other really annoying bug (although thismay be a merchant problem more than a weaponsmith one) is the vendor database losing all the names of resources. This makes it very hard to find a specific resource on your vendor, or when trying to find some for sale somewhere else.
2) also this is a issue simple quest reward items are to powerful, instead make them drop off a higher lvl mob.
3) Unarmed weapons apear to be bugged.
