The people who have never even tried being a WS thinking that they know exactly how our crafting system works and insisting that we are all monopolising, selfish, evil, credit and resource barons who don't give a damn about anything but our bank balances.
I know I am.
And if anyone is wandering what I am ranting about... I have 2 words... "Resource Buff"

I think it's a misconception that every single Weaponsmith is rich beyond anyones wildest dreams...
It's actually surprising how many crafters think that we were better off with the 10% buff then the 2% now, I spent most of the evening talking to people on Kauri yestarday, and only the long term crafters are scared of this atm, the new crafters simply cannot wait for this to be in Live.
I can understand that as a new crafter you dont have the rescources, the bonus skill tapes, the special schematics, enhancements and what not. But it takes time, it takes dedication, and it takes a special relationship with your customers to get to the Master crafter level. There is alot of explaining that needs to be done (Crafter -> Consumer) especially since our core combat system changed not too long ago.
But after all, I am still aprehensive in regards to the coming buff, sure it's better then the initial 10% buff, but it will still cap lots of crafters...

We're resource barons? Does this mean I get to wear a monacle? And I'm hardly a rich WS myself, and lord knows some of resources could use a buff, but I still don't want it.

2 of the more amusing suggestions I have seen forWS claiming they don't want the 10% Resource buffsbecause they don'twant to lose the challenge from WS.
1) Go destroy all your resources then and bang, instant challenge.
2) If you want a challenge go destroy your suits so your crafting with 10pts instead of 12.

yes ... hey I heard thatthe WS 'barons' on Bloodfin are meeting later today to count their credits ..! Perhaps we can arrange a cross-server credit-counting event for us rich-beyond-our-means WSs!

Pre-CU dying as soon as we stepped out of the door wouldn't have been a concern. Thank god for the resource gate change though huh!!!!
