I posted this information in the smuggler forum and thought I'd ask a weaponsmith as well. I'm wanting to get my featherweight FWG5 sliced and am not sure what slices to get on it. Can any kind weaponsmith offer some advice as to what slices to get on this pistol? I asked the smugglers which slices and what parts I'll need, and just want to make sure I don't hit some cap or something and figured you guys would have more info on that. Here are the stats on the unsliced un-pup'd pistol. Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

Is that a pre-cu gun? Cause the max damage is over the hard cap of 949. If that is the proper damage, all you can really do worthwhile is speed slices, and then probably throw on a sac pup and you should be good to go.

I believe it is post cu, but not totally sure. I know it was made with some nice gorax shards though.

I did already but the cap stats on this weapon are incomplete. I tried to dig through the whole thread but it is possible that I overlooked something. Is it only the speed and damage that are important at this point then?

What's your rational for only speed slices? Slicing is not affected by the caps. I've seen aelite carbine (post-cu i think) with 1.65 speed and that is lower then most pistol speed caps. If speed is not affected by cap with slicing then i'm sure damage is aswell.
To answer the posters quetions if your just looking to increase the DPS then go speed, if your fine with the current speed of the gun maybe go damage for higher damage when shooting. Critical hit might be nice but that is only a chance to do more damage, i'd prefer to be sure i will do more damage. Just my two cents.

it will not take a damage slice, you will lose your 20% if you try, do a tier four speed slice for 100% and your done.

only choices are speed and crit hit chance which isn't working at the moment.

So the damage cap is enforced even on slices too then? I guess that should have been my real question looking back at this thread now.
