Thread: Power-Up Question
Was curious what other WS charge for the power-up's ( single or by crate ) . Also do you have any idea what the max is on some of the power -up's ? Thanks for any help you can provide ... still new to the master ranks
Should have posted in the Artisan Forums ... sorry about taking up space .... still would be curious on what WS do charge
I charge 2k for a crate of the max damage and range stuff.
Sells nicely. I suggest throwing in 1 or 2 with a weapon.
Many people don't know about powerups and will buy if you educate them on how great they are.
Generally I sell various powerups for 2.5k a crate. I have resources set aside from my gun making stuff to make powerups. I tend to have a fairly large variety.
Though recently I was able to make some really good melee powerups - 32% Action down, 16% max damage up, 8% speed increase - they flew off my vendor at 3k a crate and last night one of my customers asked me if I had any left - I only had enough for 10 more crates and have yet to put them into production. He said he wants the rest and will pay reserve of 5k per crate.
Depends on what you want I guess.
I believe +33.xx, +16.xx is the maximum attainable (998.6 OQ experimentation).
As a smith, I think it's stupid not to sell powerups to complement your weapons. I charge 5k as a matter of convenience to customers... and hopefully help out the artisans a bit.
I sell 33+ power-ups at 2.5c/crate. The materials I use are set aside and would not be used for weapons crafting anyway. The credits to resource unit ratio makes power-ups a very profitable business, so there is no 'wasting' of resources. I have been a long time seller of fine power-ups and I never underestimate the financial advantage of selling them. I could not imagine myself not making them.
Yes....I remember the post and reading the test results. Looks like power-ups do cause a quicker rate of decay.
