Thread: Fellow Weaponsmiths, how are we all doing?

Ok, a little thread to see how business is pre-CU.
I have to say the influx and volume of Tissues around has hurt my regular weapon sales as even new players are coming with handed down base tissues for starter weapons but other than that sales are up since the vendor search for me, especially with heavy weapons. I have allways stocked my Heavy Weapons vendors well and it seems that the vendor search has directed more and more players to me for these weapons. Im looking forward to the CU and the new weapons it will bring and I am still enjoying the profession I started in beta (just because going for smuggler the pre-reqs were eng4 and I ended up making weapons and getting to weaponsmith before Smuggler) 
Hows everyone else doing?

In general down.
I think Flurry is waiting for the CU before they start making weapons. People are very cautious atm and very few are making things for the short term when in a month they may all be nerfed. Slow, slower than normal. Tho I havn't stocked as many enhanced weapons. I just don't seem to have the time to

All the Krayt Tissue flying around now has had an effect on my sales but they havent changed much from what they have always been. A few of my regular customers have decided to wait until after the CU while some havent and continue buying as normal.
The new vendor search has brought me a few more random sales but this hasnt made a huge difference.

Normal weapons sales are down, especially since people are waiting to see what happens.
Thermal detonator sales are through the roof. There are a bunch of people trying to finish their FS grind before grenades get nerfed.

Sales are down for me too. I haven't sold a normal weapon in a week and a half and my grenades are crawling out of my vendor. I'm hoping that the village change coming up will at least boost my nade sales. At least I'll be fully prepared for it if things do pick up.

The Galaxy Search hurt my buisness. The CU just furthered my downward spiral

Im actually doing pretty well, but Im mostly selling enhanced weapons and loot.
The Vendor search has been good to my wallet, but bad for my gaming experience. I feel less contected to my costumers (or actually the other way around)
Im having very nice sale numbers, but it still feels like people are holding again waithing for what the CU will bring.
Also Ive noticed that selling Powerhammers is extremely hard atm. Dunno if people are afraid that swordsman wont be any good after CU, but I see hammers that before the CU got close would have sold within days now stay untouched on my vendor.
Nade sale has slowed down, but that aint bothering me as I hated making them anyway 
Pup sales have gone up but taht was to be exspected with the ADK
On a last note only really highend weapons move fast on the vendor the rest I feel I have to restock a couple of times to get off

Scythes used to sell within days of being listed on my vendor, I haven't had to restock any yet but I'm expecting I will need to.
As I don't need to spend all my time making Scythes, powerhammers, etc, I have been able to make unusual weapons like Krayt DLT20s and SG82 which have been selling but not comparible to what things were like before.
Powerups are selling well.

I have master WS, Master Shipwright and TKM. Im bummed out as I have to nerf my TKM skills to get that 2Hsword requirement. I don't understand why there isn't an outcry from crafters that have this similar 2crafts 1 combat template yet. In fact I'll go post

Business is still good as usual on my end. I havent stocked up in over a month. But am holding out til the CU. Just getting all the "Goodies" needed to be able to make things when it comes in live.

My sales actually doubled now with the Bazaar/Vendor search thing going on. I haven't had a problem selling grenades, non-enhanced and enhanced weapons. Guess the customers like what they see.

Down a little since search feature, but I'm on Talus, so it's easier to find weapons on the more populated planets now. Everybody's looking for 'nades but I hate to make them and only make them as custom orders for people who I like. :-) Not too bad. My droid sales are about the same in the same tent.
I'm trying to save our Guild supply of Krayt tissues for use after CU. I don't expect we'll be killing a whole lot of Krayts after CU. LOL In fact, I've been encouraging the Guild to hold onto the enhancements (heavy duty/hi power vibro motors, capacitors, tissues, fangs, bones) until after CU. Get some of those Ink Guns with enhanced comps out of the chute!

Grenades and pups are selling pretty good... then again I've only been in buisness for a month or so.
