I just made a DLT20 and a DLT20a with the same subcomponents.

They are exactly the same, in every respect.

Have a nice day

So we didn't get a new rifle. While technically we did, in fact they just moved the DTL20a cert from Rifle I to Novice Marksman. Then why don't they just do that? Would save a lot of frustration...

LOL at the original poster's findings.

I can't even type its so funny to me, they made a gun thats a clone of an existing gun.

Well done for at last putting the DLT20 in the game Sony, but can you tell me why it is superior to the DLT20a?

My question is why can't it be built yet? Oh that's right! Because the Blaster rifle barrel was not included in the weapon smith novice update.

Didn't they say novice weaponsmiths can build DLT20?

Serious question here. Is this an accident or is it intentional?

Osse,

It really isn't that bad. It's only an hour or two of grinding blaster pistol barrels (or something like that). I'm now grinding blaster rifle barrels and the xp comes twice as fast (94 per barrel). I'll be 0,1,0,2 tonight. One day I'll be able to make a gun that people will want to buy. Until then I'm a vast steel/money sink.

Oh, I know I can grind, but whats the point in that?

I made it to Novice WS buy making high(ish) quality Bone Armor and selling it. I'd like to do the same with firearms.

Out of interest, is a Bone Chest with 30% energy resist any good or merly average? (They're the highest stats on the Coronet bazzar...)

Wouldn't we all! It simply isn't possible. You won't be able to make anything good enough for people to want to buy and certainly not in the volumes that you need to get the required XP. Grinding is the only option really.

Why not finda higher level weaponsmith, hand him some of your resources and have him make the schmatic for you. Run off the part in your factory and make your guns. You will have stayed true to your goals, and only need the help of another Weaponsmith every 1000 guns or so. Just an idea.
