Theme-park looted barrels and stocks (not sure about other loot components) not converted and are now rather useless. Not sure about other loot.

I think it would be a great help to the new Correspondent if we compiled all the issues, bugs and imbalances with the Weaponsmith Profession post cu. SO here we go. Feel free to post any issue or bug youve found and Ill update this post with them


General Conversion issues



  • Stocks from before CU still adds damage to weapons crafted with them

  • Theme-park looted barrels not converted and are now rather useless

General Issues with the Weaponsmith Profession



  • Too many special weapons are granted as quest rewards and many of these are better than what a Weaponsmith is able to craft

  • Many of the old loot schematic weapons (DE-10, Scythes, Beserker Rifle and Executioners hack) are void as they do not compare to other weapons of same CL.

General Crafting bugs and issues



  • Melee Weapons crafting xp cant be traded in the Village

  • Stacked loot components are regarded as one item, resulting in factories eating the whole stack instead of one item at a time.

  • Unable to see Weapons CL before crafting them. Would be nice if they showed up when the schematic was first loaded

  • Some of the lower level weapons seems to have way to high resource cost. This especially holds true with the weapons that has an advanced viarity such as the Laser rifle/advanced laser rifle, Scatter pistol/high capacity scatter, Flame thrower/plasma flame thrower ect.

Ranged Tree issues



  • Alliance Disruptor cannot be made into a factory schematic

  • Tangle Pistol takes Advanced Projectile Rifle Barrel

  • The Rocket launcher is way to complex to manufacture for its worth

Melee Tree Issues



  • TK weapons doesnt work. Having a TK weapon equipped will do less damage than fighting unarmed

  • Resource requirements for LVA and VL should be reversed as the VL is now the highend weapon

  • WS currently doesnt have a CL 54 TKA weapon

  • There are no craftable 1H weapons between CL14 and CL40. This is way to large of a gap in the weapons we can make

  • There are no craftable melee weapons at CL22


  • When Necrosis Poisonpike wasfirst introduced it had a 0-60 range. Thou this is now corrected on the ones entering the game today, some of the pikes from before the patch are still ingame. Giving a huge advantage to those wielding them.


Munition Tree Issues



  • Grenades takes to much factory time and are to complex to craft compared to their usefullness

Overall Crafter related Issues



  • Crafter profession doesnt add to CL thus making it hard for crafter to survive without grouping with highlevel players. Which makes surveying and placing harvester unessecary hard.

Wishlist


  • The ability to craft the new ROTW weapons

  • More WS quests (for weaponschematics) preferably somethat doesnt include combat

Personally my biggest issues are


- where are our new schems?


- the moves away from a player economy.


- and to me, the biggest issue, crafter CL. I went from a human buzzsaw master pikeman able to help my guildto a CL 54 needing a bodyguard. We need some balance. I think simply allowing crafter boxes to count toward CL is a reasonable solution. We'll still be quite limited by the inability to stack combat profs and gain those skills, so the devs should be satisfied that we're not uber or at all on aneven-footing with combat characters.


I'm very worried our next correspondant won't push the CL issue, and it is HUGE, for all of us.

im not to sure on the CL issue - CL is what allows a double master to do the higher end content alone and limits people who dabble in other proffessions


my template is master WS master carbs and some of merchant. and once im grouped up with a level 80 - i am usually the biggest damage dealer. Our strength comes from our pockets - there are not many double master combatants who can afford an ADK RIS suit sstacked with attachments to boost thier combat abilities.. .



My major issue is the "melee weapons crafting XP i have - i crafted 1.7 mill of it during double xp week to trade in for FS XP - however to date i cant use it for anything /cry

i personally feel our main issue without a doubt is all the looted quest weapons, all pre-cu schematic weapons are now useless and undesirable, everyone is running round with quest or kashyyyk weapons - this should be the main issue for our corospondent

Most WS aren't as amazingly rich as people think. Only a few elder smiths (me, you) are.

I believe this was patched and all other forms of XP like melee weapons crafting XP deleted

130k of XP I earned during doubleXP week was deleted by this "fix," though I got a CSR to reimburse it.

There are no craftable melee weapons at CL22.


There are no craftable 1H weapons between CL14 and CL40. This is way to large of a gap in the weapons we can make.

A fix to the stackable loot problem; i.e. where a loot stack is mistakenly treated as one item in a factory.

0-60meter "Prenerf" Quest reward Pike is _not_ balanced. This has been discussed on the Pikeman boards since these first started dropping, but auctions for these are already popping up.

This _should_ be changed, as a new patch is making them drop with correct ranges. If this new system is all about balanance, the change should be made retroactive.

Right now my biggest gripe is that the Alliance disruptor can't be made in a factory because it won't allow you to make a manufacturing schem. I'm also hesitant to make Modified Republic Blasters and Enhanced E11's because the bleed DOT was removed. Resource requirements for the Vibro Lance and LVA should be reversed since the VL is now a more powerful weapon.
