personaly i thaught that the TKM was suppost to be the tanks in the game but when i started i found it much to the contrary it was the CH's that got all the credit for being tanks with there pets but as time went on TK's got the skills and mods that the class desurves and we can now atlest sufficiantly tank most creatures helping others get xp of loot but the tanking stops at creatures if anything shoots at me i am forced to use alot of specials and try to kill it fast or run.

i have been killed by a novice marksman because he kept running and shooting i couldent get in range to hit him it took him a while and i was LMAO when he incapped me because of the irony of a novice beeting a elite master to tell u the truth i didnt mind he played the ranged game and that is what he was ment to do if he had stood there i would of kicked hell outa him as he knew i could.

most of the whiners about TKM have either been too stupid to keep moveing and shoot or have been other melee classes that have higher dmg than us but less deffences.

TKM's are master martial artests that means we get the best of both worlds defences and offences other melee classes like pikeman use a lance now think about it what do u do with a lance.

1) charge at the enimy with the pointy bit faceing them
2) swing it round your head and hit them with it

basicly that sort of thing

now TKM on the other hand have both hands free so we can in reality use 1 hand to block and counter attack and hit with the other if you are a fencer they used a smaller dagger to deffend them selfs in reality if your a pikeman u had no defence as a pike is a 2 hand weapon same with the 2 hand sword the only option u had was to try to counter the attack with your main weapon that leaves u open to attack so lower deffences.

if you are following what i am saying basicly i dont see anything wrong with TKM other than the damage we do is a little over the top for bare knuckle fighting the defences and attacks are all martial art attacks so they fit

The nerf cries come from those that were owned by a master. They got too close and paid the price. Any TKA knows the pains of being a melee fighter with the kiting.

If you killed me from 50m away (and i didnt pull my pistol or carbine) then you beat me. If you got too close and i kd'ed you (which is the only way a brawler can keep a ranged person from kitiing) then you die, its that simple.

We also recieve cries from other melees, like pikeman, who is broke.

I'm sick of all nerf crying I'm also not a TKM

as long as a TKA, or any melee profession, doesnt whine about people kiting, then there is no reason to b*itch at TKA's. If your a good ranged fighter and get killed all the time by TKM's then you suck....period. Yes you should lose some and win some... no one should be "uber" and i really dont think any profession is right now. Its the uber templates that are the problem like TKM, Master Pistoleer, Rogue. Then you run and your dead, or you stay and your dead...unless you have a dizzy kd which is imo, way over-used in this game. Anyways people who cry nerf on 1 profession are those who get owned all day long by that profession, and should learn to fight better. NO MORE NEFS! FIX BROKEN CLASSES, NOT DEGRADE THE WORKING ONES! AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE FIX JEDI PLAYER MISSIONS FOR BH's!

I think what some of the nerf callers fail to realize is that they are not always just seeing a TKM but a combination of professions. Although TKM may be the main profession they use (or use at that time). When I decided to go back to TKA I was going to be a TKM, master brawler, and pistoleer. However I decided instead of being a walking army I wanted to be more help to any groups I was in. So I picked up doctor also. this way I could buff myself and people in my group also. However I also plan tobuy as many bio-clothes with ranged def and melee def as I can find (if it exsits) and loot / buy as many skill tapes that I can find with defenses.If everything goes as I plan then I should hold up pretty well against both people that want to beat on meas well as people that want to shoot at me. Should I be nerfed for thinking this out? I don't think so. However last time I was in a fightI was taken down repeatedlyby arifleman using strafe shot (one shot killfor theguy on the giving end of that gun).While I thought "wow, that's an interesting move". I didn'tcome to the boards crying for a nerf. Instead Ithought of ways to counter what he did so I would last longer in a fight against anyone else that wanted to use that against me. Maybe the nerf criers are being lazy, maybethey don't know about the rest of the things that canhelp you live longer in the game.So they just decide that they died toquick and didn't have a chance so whatever they foughtis just way to overpowered and the natural thing to do is tell a few friends how they got "owned" and bring together a nice petition for a nerf. Yeah I decided to go tka even with the rumor of the imminent nerf. I think switching a profession you like because of a nerf is pathetic. Kind of like the fencer bandwagon.

Did anyone every notice the professions that get attention??? there usually TKM, Commando, BH, and a few hybrids.... Instead of nerfing these professions don't you think it would be a more reasonable solution to fix the broken professions like Carbineer, Pikeman, Swordsman (sorry if i missed any )

Just think...instead of there being 3-4 uber professions. we would all be a great big happy uber family instead of a bunch of whining nerf calling sissys.

It seems that everytime a profession is nerfed it not only effects that one profession but sometimes others also which end up being one hell of a nerf... Plus when a profession gets nerfed its usually not just a little slap on the hand,its a beat down, complete with atrip to thehospital in critical condition with slim to none of a chance for survival.

well thats my two cents... Personaly, i would just rather see professions fixed instead of all this nerfing... I think for one, its better for the game, and two, better for everyone playing it

Hmm, maybe if TKM's didnt come to the other forums crying nerf for other professions. Now, im not saying all TKMs, most are good people. But I know Rifleman have had a few nerf threads by TKMs that got owned by a master.

I am personally sick of the crys and am gettin pretty sick of the game b/c I know its only a matter of time before the devs succomb to the cries of the nerfcallers. I would like to know how our kd / dizzy is overpowered when it has a 10m range.. now everyone is crying about this 20m KD well every melee gets that at master brawler. If people would take the time to play the class rather than complain about it they would see the weaknesses. IF your ranged run , you can run and shoot for a reason so do it. Going toe to toe with a melee elite your probaly goin to die so get over it and learn some tactics. Granted this games pvp system is crappy by far but the fact that all these idiots would rather cry nerf than learn to play is even worse.
