TKM was a good uber proff pre cu but it is now nerfed the hell out of it with many bugs. remember dizzy/kd and unarmed hit 3 and the target would never get up.


i miss the old TKM /cry

Having done TKA pre and post CU i dont see much difference in the tanking. In fact, TKA has become more and more reliant on a secondary profession to boost it's defenses.

Sure, my character can now hold his own against everything but the elite boss critters but it took Master Brawler and Master swordsman, and a sprinkle of Pikemancombined with whatever Defense clothing mod's i could scrounge up (plus FS skills) to add to TKA to make it into its previous power level. And even then...i dont do a great of damage no matter what weapon im using.


I miss the days of being 1 combat profession to get you through those raids, mob attacks etc/whatever and otherwise enjoying crafting or entertaining. Because combat gets old fast.


And for the love of whatever may be sacred: give TKA back an area attack. Ifthey want to make Pikeman spiffy: make their sticks bigger (+2 meter range or something).

TKM was good before CU, but it wasn't everything. It still took the addition of other professions to really make it stand out in PvP and in PvE. I've only been playing for a week or two with it in Post CU but I don't think it's that bad, in context of how the system work in general, it's a good set.

i loved tkm before cu but after it i love it more...now u can tell the tka because we are all wearing clothes not armored tanks any more and to me that is alot better...i now give my friends a horrible sight...a tall red lizard wearing hotpants going into battle...they now make me wear clothes because it is that distubing...before cu i could not ever do that...my favorite is telling people my hotpants is my armor and just laugh.

Ah yes the old days of spamming dizzy/kd in a duel and then declaring your great combat prowess. Oh and dont forget jedi in comp armor and 85% block cant have one without the other. TKM does need a little boost in offense in the cu but things had to change from pre cu it had way too many imbalances.

"a CM who just used traumatize to win" The CM was just making up for the lack of a second combat proffesion ei. offence by using his own template to the fulles.


I will bet you my first born that you will never find a CM who does not use traumatize andthyroid rupture.. just as you will never find a TKM that doesnt use dizzy or a Swordsman that uses armor break..
