um... what???

so you need a macro, what kind of macro do you want? i've got harvesting macros, pet command macros, healing macros...

Personally i dont use macros for anything except healing (one that targets, pauses, then heals each of my pets automatically) and macros that put my pet commands on my toolbar.

You dont need macros for combat, just do it the old fashioned way and drag n drop attacks on your toolbar. My bar goes something like:
[Stand][tellpet-attack][tellpet-follow][unarmedhit3][unarmedspinattack2][unarmedstun][unarmedblind][unarmedknockdown2][unarmeddizzy][healself][healpets][loot]\
and my armor/weapons/food and meditation/powerboost/forceofwill commands on the second row of the toolbar.

Of course, im assuming you're not a creature handler, but my point is you dont really need macros for combat, just memorize which F# key is which special attack, and get good at hitting the clear combat queue button.

What the hell is the point behind that, for the love of god when people gonna relize that one the enjoyment behind the game is to achieve something and working hard for it. AFK Macroers just piss me off now, whats next AFK macro for picking up girls, AFK Macro for taking a piss.

Sorry guy, but you're not gonna get a very warm welcome from people by asking how to AFK your way to master.

try the game guides forum, or do a search for "afk macros" or just "macros"

Lol I love guys that flame but know that they used macros to level from unarmed1 to Novice TKA. Fun isnt doing a mindless grind doing 20 dam to a wort or getting owed by two Sevvorts. Fun isnt asking for advice and getting flamed buy the what-the-hell-i-mastered-tka-in-two-minutes-whats-your-malfunction type gurus of TKA. Fun isnt getting incapped by a Meatlump who blasted you on your bike with a noob weapon in route to check your harvestor.

Fun is when you get mastered after a long grind and the guy that masters you /bow2 and says 'Grats welcome to the family'. Fun is when other noobs ask to group with you to get expericene or hunt and everone laughs as you own mobs untill everone gets blasted/incapped by Tusken Observers and you laugh about it in the cloning facility.

You cant really have any real fun in this game untill you have mastered whatever profession it is you want. I dropped TKA twice and regretted it twice and got back to MTK twice. Now Im having a blast and the blast wasnt grinding hurrtons on Dantooine for exp. Once the CR comes out I feel sorry for those that arnt mastered in their combat Prof. No more "dude I can master TKA in 2 hours on xyz mob, your such a noob lol".

there are several variations of the above. what the macro does is kill the closest mob to you and loots it, reconfigures and again cycles out to kill a mob that is closest too you. You can have it set up in your toolbar you run or you can write a real long one with pauses and or breaks to heal yourself. Remember the semi colons at the end of commands to have it repeat. Not all of us are flamers dude Been flamed when I was a noob and hate it with a passion.

First of all the UA 4 to Novice is a hard grind but i am sure no one put a gun in your head or any one elses head and said go and become a TKM, you chose to become a TKM and so work for it rather than try to get it handed to you on a platter. I have never used a macro to get to where i am now, never needed it to become TKM and Fencer and dont need it now.

Asking advice is welcomed, and i will go out of my way to be helpfull in any way i can, beacuse i have done the hard grind and i know how it feels. I know how frusttrating it can get getting killed by a crapy mob, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it aint AFK macro. A bit of hard work wont kill and will give you a better understanding of how your chosen proffesion works. AFK macro will get you back here to put Crap Posts like what dose CoB do? why my HAM bar moves when i get hit etc....

Now if you had your ass sat down infront of your PC, you would know the answer tomost questions, you would know which moves are good where / when and why . You werent born knowing Maths or know about the hitsory of the world you live in you learned it hard way, so do it know.

Oh and just for records, there is one group of people i hate even more than AFK Grinders, and that is people who try to justify the crap they are typing.

Lol, since I paid for the game I can care less what someone elses self rightous opinion of how I play is or who they "hate", grow up. My opinion is that if it isnt an exploit have at it if you want. So you sat in front of your computer and spent hours grinding away...good for you (clapping sound). I have a life and do other things and still grinded TKA and am still a MTKA. Im not a kid with 20hrs a day to play at mommies computer. Work smarter not harder. Since the Jedi revamp and Solo Group nerf there isnt a huge need for people to grind through a profession any more so there is alot less afk macroing. But wether your talking about TKA or artsian, I sat down and grinded artisan by hand when I first bought the game and it mind numbed me. When I learned about macros they made it easier and I reached my goal of master and had alot of fun. Same goes for TKA. Since most NPC mobs own you prior to Novice there is no fun. A macro just makes the process less torturous and tedious. If you choose not to use one that is your progitive but dont bash another because they choose to take advantage of it.


Same thing goes for combat. Please dont tell me people dont use CoB macros or intimidate macros because if you dont in pvp or hard mobs your a fool. Macros have alot more use than just grinding from looting corpses, to forceofwill, to people spamming at the starport. In my opinion most that flame on here have a history of doing it and arnt doing it for the sake of the profession but for the sake of fulfilling some self-rightous, egotistical, lack-of-love-from-mommy, self-based-hate mental condition that most school yard bullies posses in which they try to feed and justify through putting down/arguing with an individual over a point that has little or no negative or positive impact with the game or profession at large. And with that thats my last post for this thread because I have a life and their are more interesting posts to read than this flamers lame 5th grade comebacks, insults or bogus justification of putting someone else down.
