No, nothing officially new. I've been asked to gather information on what types of Droid Modules/Functions we think could help us.

hmmm... the only thing I can think of that would be of any use would be a droid mod that made meditation/powerboost more efficient. other than that, storage is the only reason I have a droid now and probably the only reason I would ever use one.

I dunno never used a droid in combat always used a pet. What yould a TK need with a droid?

I can't think of any purpose other than to increase our chances of laying states or powerboost/meditate. meh, not sure

Droids have their use now. Think gimp mobs that just happen to be 100% resistant to kinetic... Janta Rockshaper anyone? Well, combat droids don't do kinetic.


As for droid modules and functions for TKA, how bout a module that allowed meditate to heal battle fatigue, but only when droid is out and powered?

Not sure having the ability to heal bf is the way forward, it really breaks up the necessity to rely on other professions. Perhaps benefits to meditation such as faster wound healing though, as it would be a nice perk but not something too over the top.


And yes, droids are a tka's best friend with the mob you come across that has a 100% kinetic resist rockshaper in it... so long as you get the chance to call it out

This isn't completely true.


Probots and DZ07 droids only do Ranged attacks, Energy if i'm not mistaken.


LE Repair Droids only do Kinetic damage


any R# models can toggle between their lightning cannon and a little saw blade. I don't know if the lightning gun is considered electric or energy damage, but the R droids can do both Ranged and Kinetic damage.

Some type of benefit to meditation would be awesome. Possibly a module to allow a TKM to heal bf at a rate similar to wounds with the droid pulledout and while meditating.


Or how about just a droid to give us the flashyness of the jedi's meditation animation

how about droids that you can pre program nanite's (or similar) for induction into the bloodstream so as to increase healing or toughness or damage much in the same way as food or secondary buffs work...idunno lol just an idea

while it is alwys nice ot have a combat buddy or rolling storage box, i really don't think there should be TKM specific droid modules. it doesn't fit in with the profession. ex--how can a module in droid affect my abilities to focus my inner "chi"?


--on second thought, it could provide incense or mood music. i take it back. droids rock!!

I dont think TKA has anything to do with droids.
