I heard everyone saying that at master they use no armor.

I'm 1-1-1-1 in TKA, and I dont know how you guys DONT wear armor..

of course I believe you

Just can someone explain to me how you dont get 300 points of damage taken off everytime u get hit buy a Gurk or something..

Thanks!

Well at least myself as a TKM use no armor do to power boost and insane amounts of damage, everything I fight dies before I do, and if I am getting gang beat, there is always feign death for me....

a Rogue Tera Kasi Master, too say the least

nothing and no one can take my elite Advanced Wookie fur from me!

its uber, rest is just little kiddy toys.

I am mildy disapointed with all the buffs to TKA because of one reason.

1) i used to say i played this game on difficulty mode: extra hard

because i was a wookie TKM, now its like sorta hard instead of extra hard.

i would wager that Wookie Pikemen is the new Extra hard in the game.

anyways not real upset with the TKM buffs though, that was a joke

I fought against a TKA Master,at that timeI was at 3/3/3/2, he didnt wear any armor, I did (composite) though and I didnt do any buffing.

Before the duel I was really excited, and thought this is gonna be a very fun and strategical fight.

But the reality was different, he just spammed UH3 like twenty times (turbo-dubble-click-action: weeeeee).

and I was flat after five seconds. So what does this say? If you want to finish as quick as possibleand dont like the "path" just don´t wear any armor and just spam specials. LOL.

I tried it later on too, no armor just dubble clicking as fast as possible, it goes a lot quicker, but it is sooooo boooooriiing!

No thanks.

Once your done with the balance line, it seems like armor is pretty much useless.

A 50 rating in unarmed toughness is a 50% dmg reduction taken from melee.

But armor in PvP is essential.

Get the best comp helm, chest, and leggings you can find.

Helm, chest, boots and gloves are the key pieces IF I'm not mistaken.

Why wouldn't your opponent use his best attack against you? If a player does not use their best attacks on you, they are insulting you by saying they can kill you with their weaker attacks and that you are not a worthy oppontent.

i don't use armor--i have my str/quick/const/stamina at the minimum for my species (with the stat points put into health/action/mind/focus/will) so armor does more harm than good since i spam specials.

it's good for PvP and large mobs...and if you have doctor buffs. but even with doctor buffs, i take more damage from my specials (most painfully in mind) than i would naked from the target. yeah, i probably need better armor, but since i still only die from mind damage, i don't see how it would help.

Unlike some TKAs, I wear armor in PvP. Do you want to get 1 hit KOs with a FT or LLC? I hope not. Plus, I can still spam specials, just drink a Breath of Heaven. Lets see...

BH Eyeshot Spammer-No Armor, 4 hits, With Armor 10+hits....hmmm

Heavy Weapons-No Armor, 1 hit, maybe 2, With armor-4 hits....

Force Sensitive NPC-No armor, 1 hit, With armor 2 hits...

Powerboost helps, but armor helps a lot. Just look for your local Armorsmith who happens to sell already encumber sliced armor.

I got full composite just because - but I only wear it in PvP. In PvE there is no reason - as a doctor/TKM I simply don't die unless I screw up in PvE. In PvP frankly, armor doesn't seem to matter - I win some, I die more, that's just the way it goes for me.

As a master now, I still wear armor whenever I fight. Itdoesn't hurt me that much on the moves, even w/o food. I get hurt a lot more with Knucks than full composite. Adv. Ubese is a nice middle ground. With toughness, armor and resists it's nice to see mobs that normally hit in the 200's pop me for20-30. No if I could just find that armor hole...

Armor is a trade off in PvE. Some use it some don't, either works if you use it right.

Armor is MUST for PvP. Not using it in PvP is a deathwish.
