Thread: Question Concerning TKA Armor vs No-armor
For hunting the likes of Dantooine or most of Lok or something? Yeah armor isn't needed.
ButI'd LOVE to see an armor nay-sayer tank a force sensitive or a couple nightsisters without it though. I'm master TKM and I got hit for 2650 by a force crystal hunter the other day because I forgot to put on a bracer. Had taken off my armor to fix my stats that got bugged after a powerboost.

I'm a TKM on Eclipse and I tank both force sensitive and nightsisters without armor. If they stick to melee it's easy... blasters hurt. But the only time they pull out a gun when I'm fighting them is when my CM partner accidently pulls agro first. 99.9% of the time they will always melee me when I attack with melee. In both cases as long as I can keep intimidate on them and keep them melee'ing instead of using a blaster I can stand fine. *hugs +intimidate pants!* Add in stun and/or blind (which are hard as hell to land on either) and I'm sitting pretty... the key to PvE without armor is lots of specials (buffs I guess too but I'm not counting that). PvP... that's a different story.
1: Composite armor is no good for TKA, unfortuntaly that is what I wear lol
, need to get a new set.2. Specials are the key, right now, the only special i use are knockdown and dizzy, other then that, I just beat on things with my knuckles (100+ HAM costs hurts.)
3. PvM and PvP are completly different senarions (obviously)
Questions:
I dont think im grasping the concept of not wearing armor..
From what I can pull up..
TKA with armor and knuckles 100+ HAM on special moves
TKA with no armor and knuckles. 30-60
TKA with neither 10-30
Does that seem abour right?????
I just think that rather then getting hit for 50 damage with no armor, but not get hit by 5 damage?
Maybe I need to be a Master TKM to find it out
