well, today on my server we had 5 TKM against one fencer, he challanged us all to a duel and we though hewas crazy... we were wrong. he put CoB on and...we would've had better luckstanding next to the Statue of Liberty, and throwing darts at the face of Big Ben. Not one of us hit him ONCE!

Fencers could become the new melee gods...

dodge is insane, yet now that i think about it perhaps SoE thinks we shoudl spend our time killing melee, because they are planing to give us to hit bonus's next patch.

well hopefully more melee start playing, because pvp is still pure range right now

how do you know that they are going to give us hit bonuses next patch? Is there some way I can see what is going to be changed for the next patch?

test center patch notes. go to test center and it tells you hehe, not in game test center, but on this web site

Center of Being seems to be working for me just fine. I dueled a Novice Swordsman and he missed 5 times in a row when I put it on.

I had a similar experience. Dueled a Blademaster about 3 different times in battle, and each time had my ass handed to me. For all of my great moves, and awesome damage, I couldn't land much of anything for it to matter. Meanwhile he had little trouble hitting me. I maybe hit him once or twice...... and even then found it difficult to impossible with the hits that didnt' miss to land any knockdowns or dizzies, warcry'.. nothing...

The best I could do is hit him with a flamer and hope to god that didn't miss......

FYI - Novice Fencers are granted use of the "Stun Baton" note that it does stun damage. Also further note that your composite armor's are all vunerable to exactly this type of dmg.

That a novice heavy swordsman missed a fair amount isn't a great shock to me. TKMs have great innate melee defense, and accuracy at the low end of a combat profession isn't all that.

It does seem telling that a fencer's COB working with dodge visibly works (and works well) but that ours appears to be ... not as effective to be kind.

I fight master fencers all the time, they usually die quickly UNLESS they dabble. Pistoleer defenses with Fencer defenses = Ownage. It wasn't justa fencer you were dueling, it was a Fencer/Pistoleer.

i thought the defensed didn't stack. you only get pistoleer def if you're holding a pistol.

Well thanks for the compliment guys. However if defense acurity worked then TKA's would enjoy similar benefits. As for the stun baton, well every one gots to have their advantages. also something you should remeber even as you get higher in tka is that you still have a blind hit.I know as a fencer blind has saved my butt dozens of times. I f you cant get the knockdown i would follw up with blind because even one miss caused by it can save your butt.
