I was on lowca fighting either a rifelman or bounty hunter with mind attack. I need to know if there's a macro to avoid major mind damage and follow a target, knock him down, and go for the kill?

an example.....
/find target
/follow target
/burst run
/knockdown
/dizzy
/unarmed hit3

is there something like that as a command? please help a newly initatiated TK out please.

DO NOT MACRO ATTACK .... YOU WILL DIE

Try this ...

you are already targeting your opponent, if not type /target name then /follow ... you automatically follow him then ...

The first thing you need to do is STOP FOLLOWING THE TARGET. If someone can pound your mind pool the best thing you can do is find a nice corner to run around. Let him come to you, and believe me if he's a bounty hunter he will come to you.

Then you need to use lunge as soon as he's within 15m followed immediately by unarmeddizzy1.

The second he tries to stand up from the kneel while dizzy he'll fall down.

Now hit him a few times with /unarmedhit3.

Stop the moment he recovers his feet and try an unarmedknockdown2...if it fails you're in trouble again, try to hit him with an /unarmedhit2 or 3, I prefer 2 in this situation because it winds down faster.

Keep using cover to bring him in close and aim for his mind pool...if he's a rifleman he'll be burning it up pretty quickly anyway.

Most importantly DO NOT HEAL YOURSELF (you need your mind pool) unless he changes to a carbine or LLC (obviously only counts for BHs). His first action will always be to run the other way from you, before the fight even starts locate the cover you're going to use to draw him in, but unless you're standing in the middle of an open field you should never chase.

I am using Brandy for the mind, 2 sips always.....so from what I gather I need to not be in the open, and use my surroundings more efficiently. This is something I must implement ASAP. Are there more PvP tips for TKMs???

I most definitely am not good at pvp
So I try to stay around citys, corelia- even Imperial Outpost on dantooine where you are sure to find cover and water hopefully.
If the second kncokdown doesn't take I make for cover using Unarmed lunge or unarmed hit3 as i go.

try using kd1 then dizzy, don't use macro's in pvp or you will constantly die. Unarmed 3 for non armor. and Mind attack for heavy armored.

I can get 4.2k mind, I tell rifleman to bring it! I got 40% Stun resist, and PSGs they help heaps, they start running when they see that they can't do anything against you

Mind at 4.2k you ask?: 1100 base + 1100 dancer + 550 powerboost + 900 Brandy (x2) + 500 Muon if SOMEHOW you feel like upping it. Then you can get some drink too. With that you just laugh at the rifleman, mind is higher then other stats

Im a Human so it works, and my Focus and Willpower are in the 2-3k mark as well. So its damn good against the mind hitters. With the PSGs and Stun resists up, your gonna romp your enemies

Saddly only the most inept and impatient players will follow a TK into a building or around a corner. I once got stuck in a 5 minute stalemate with someone who was out in that grassy area by Theed hotel, I was inside, he was outside. With no cover and the fact he was 30m from the entrance I could never have caught up to him before he could hit burst run himself. Put simply it shows a flaw in gameplay where simply being sensitive leads to an impossible situation, if he came inside the hotal I'd win. If I went outside I'd win. So we both stayed where we were for 5 minutes, then he jumped on his landspeeder and left out of bordom.
