Hehe, why would you need exp if you are at TKM?

LOL, that's true.

I've already maxed unarmed xp, I'm mainly trying to bank up some combat xp so that if I decide to keep chasing Holo's and do Dancer then maybe I'll FINALLY get a combat profession as #4. I mean c'mon! Merchant, then Doctor, then Dancer. I want to fight!!

i do agree that tanking is cool and is what I enjoy most about being 85% melee, but even if it was reduced to 99% resists or hell, 95% resists, those kind of mobs would have medium - heavy armour, and well.. the most we have is AP1

I can understand your situation, since you are doctour for your second prof, but people with combat profs have the advantage...I have every single damage type, for example, and I have powerful attacks for all those weapons so it is kinda hard to balance

I just recently got TKM and Master Doc and I'm loving it so far. I really enjoy being able to buff myself, drink some brandy and go out and take on "almost" anything.

I have to say almost becausethere are numerous chicks on Dathomir that are 100% Kinetic Resist. I'm speaking specifically of the NightSister Elder and Singing Mountain Clan Councilwoman. Now I understand having a high level of resist to make it more difficult. I'm cool with them having Heavy Armor. I'm all right with them having 350K HAM bar. But 100% Kinetic resistis more than high, it's impervious. Does anybody else agree that if they made the highest Kinetic resist 99% it would not drastically upset the balance in the world?At least it wouldallow TK's to do some damage.

This is exactly what the devs are thinking.......we tank others kill. Hopefully they can fix the fact that at the moment its possible to mix the right professions together and still solo an elder, krayt, ect....which should not be possible.

that would be impossible, because if

they weaken 1 prof to weaken an uber prof stacker, then dedicated players that are truly the meaning of let's say, a Commando, then would get affected, and it would just all get messed up. My idea? Make them even harder

I agree and I've got no problem with that actually. I was actually with a rifleman who was leveling up and he was hanging back with his pea shooter. Literally not doing much damage, but at least taking the HAM bar down. We did this on Singing Mountain Clan Guardian which is 100% resist, but only 93K HAM. So I stood there for 15 minutes tanking with my armor on, healing once in a while, KD'd once in a while, watching my mind bar carefully.

My major peeve was that after doing this for 15 minutes, I got ZERO xp from it. Which makes sense, since I did no damage. But if I'm an integral part of the party as a tank, I should get SOME xp from it. I got nothing. And then she didn't drop any loot either, which hacked me off.

those girls are rough.....i was with a group of about 9+ and that girldid 9k damage to me in one attack :-( not that i had 9k at all but that was what the combat log totaled up to with one move. it was very sad. esp when you clone and your stomach is still full somehow? hehe

100% Resist against anything is lame. That's why I dropped BH for TKA. Just about everything I want to kill has 100% against Electricity, and that's all I want to use.

Refusing to use another weapon when you can is lame, not the 100% resist.

BH's have sooo many options, in fact don't they have the option to use any and all damage types (except Blast)?

Electricity: LLC

Heat: FWG5

Acid: Scatter Pistol

Stun: Tangle Pistol/Geo Pistol/Jawa Rifle

Energy: LOTS of kinds

Cold: Sb82 (?) Riflef

Kinetic: Striker Pistol

Shes 100% resist no invulnerable you can still do dmg but less then what you would do with no kinetic
