I am workin on TK novice and think its requires too much xp to become a novice TKA. I think that it should be lowered because otherwise i will be workin on it for a year lol. thanks

it's actually very low, I did it in 12 hours, 6 in one day, 6 in the next it's very easy just as long as you join a small sharnaff hunting group in coronet. Besides, everyone else gets this amount, it's only fair. And last we all are very weak at this point, but dont worry, it'll get much easier at novice.

I think the real problem is that novice TKs don't hit for nearly as much as novices in other combat professions so it takes significantly longer to get the required experience. I know that allowing the VK certification to come before TK novice is unbalancing, but maybe, they should give a little more speed and damage to the brawler line of unarmed combat just to allow for a smoother progression.

I didn't find myself hitting fast enough to do it that quickly, but that works too.

Getting to Teras Kasi Novice wasn't too bad. From Novice Brawler to Teras Kasi Novice in a week. One you have Unarmed IV, just get buffs and go kill stuff. I did 93% of Teras Kasi Novice on Naboo, in about three hours.

i dont think its too much.
I buffed myself yesterday morning with 7000/125000 ..i went out on Naboo less than 2 K from Theed and was fighting Greater Shauputs (4 at a time with unarmedSpinAttack1) and those butterfly things.. getting 800-1200 XP per creature.. i played a total of about 6 hours yesterday.. with 2 buffs.. and made TKA about midnight... i took a break in between that to go to Rori to look around.. healed in the med center etc etc.
i think what it needs is to be able to deal a little more damage at Unarmed IV to help you along the way.. dealing 130-200 damage on creatures with 4-10K ham takes a while.

I have some vibroknucklers sliced to 1.8 speed. I think the damage is something like 32-150. Currently I'm a little over halfway to Unarmed IV certification, and only doing about 68-75 damage per hit (obviously I'm not certified with VK). Where is your 130-200 damage figure coming from? When I do special attacks I do around 130-150+ per hit, but nothing near 200. Is there a substantial damage gain between Uarmed IV Uarmed III?

Here's a really easy way to make novice.
1)Buffs
2)Armor
3) 1.5 Speed VK
4) Dantoonie, Savage Quenkers...payout is around 6800 credits
5)Use beserk on them...you'll hit a bit harder that way
I went from novice brawler to Novice TKA in one set of buffs, around 3 hours. It's not bad if you can set aside some time to do it, once you hit novice TKA gets even easier and you can make master in a day or so lol.

Savage Quenkers have got tougher since the last patch - are they still the way to go or is there a better creature to go after now?

The xp is fine. It's in line with every other profession. They either need to move the VK cert down (unarmed III perhaps) or greatly increase the unarmed dmg mods in the brawlerunarmed discipline because point blank TKA's don't hit for jack until they get a VK cert.
Forget quenkers by the way. They now have 8K HAM, their acid based spit attacks have returned and they now kite you with those spit attacks.
