Thunderheart has recently asked all profession correspondents to submit a 'Top 10' list of questions that the communitywants answered, so in regular fashion, tell me and I'll tell him


Questions should be of a positive and constructive nature, and try to to ask for clarification of something specific, rather than just 'When will our broken stuff be fixed' etc.


Once we have a fair list, I'll take the best/most popular 10 to Thunderheart. If you can only think of a couple, please do still suggest them. If someone else has already posted your question(s), post it anyway - Popularity counts! Please do try to avoid posting more than once where possible, to make collating the data easier

Main one I would like answered is when is our COB going to be fixed.

1) are TKAs, and generally all melee professions, going to be made more effective in group PvP battles

2) Will we be given the option to deal another damage type? Either by having a different sort of vibroknuckler, or perhaps making one of our currently "broken" skills give a different type.

3) Will we gain a skill that will give a DoT?

4) Is the role of the Teras Kasi in a group going to be finally made clear to us? As it stands we don't know if we are to be the group tank, or just be a general support class.

5) Will we gain, in the future, the "mystical" aspect of our discipline as laid out by the EU cannon sources? (specifically: Luceno, Agents of Chaos II, page 130).

6) Will defense acuity and Center of Balance be fixed?

My question would be what is the role of TKA in SWG? Are we just futuristic martial artists only to do close in melee in a combat situation or are we really the "watchers" that are supposed to keep the Jedi in check? ( that means Behaviour) We are not Jedi Hunters per se, as in the case of a Bounty Hunter. This needs to be answered 1st b-4 a solution to TK balance can be answered.

1-what role do you see Tera kasi artists play in the future of the GCW?


2-Is there going to be modifications made to the teras Kasi artist professions?


2-Are there any plans to implement more stuff from the EU concerning the TKA ways of life.

Are the devs aware of the meditation bug? It is only an animation and not a priority to me by any means. Also, I know it is hard for them to give usa time linebut it would be helpful for all to have a sticky thread of posted issues (time stamped) and planned fix dates. That way you do not get repeat questions as much. Just and idea.

1.What is my role in this game? Alot of professions have there role defined as well as bonus content in the game. ie bounty hunters can hunt player jedi's, artisans make tons of credits, smugglers can fight and be highly profitable, and most other classes play some part in the swg community. However all fighting classes just blow stuff up. Now I understand that SWG gives enough skill points to master all different kinds of professions and since we are fighters its obvious that our role should be to blow stuff up, but I want more content for the meleers. We get the same stupid mission all the time and many people know very little about what a TKA is or any combat proeffession for that matter. Should'nt we have temples, Grand masters, waring factions, and a general sense of the TKA code? Ioften hearthat in order to appritiate this game I need to roleplay. I also agree that the greatest story ever told in the star wars universe is ---- mine. How am I suppose to do this if I don't know who I am?


2. Mediatation animation going to work?


3. Is your solution to a working class a nerf?


4. Is Cob Working like it should for us?


5.Will Tka ever have a use for other combat skills other than kd, dizzy, ua3 and ua 2

All of the other Correspondents have their questions in now.. I know we're a bit behind as we've been without a Correspondent, but the sooner we get them in, the sooner we can get some answers.

1) Will Teras Kasi get any special role in SWG? I can understand that we should not hunt jedi, but i feel we should be(historywise) more important than the other melee proffesions, because of the teras kasi history?


2)Will Teras kasi, get any new weapons? Just for visual look? maybe some gloves or something that also has kin damage?


3)Is it possible to fix the Unarmed Combos? They look really cool, but dont do much damage.


4)Will teras kasi get any new stuff for their proffesion? maybe a new skill that makes us diffrent like, the meditate thing? maybe a special bow, or an uniqe robe or some kind of clothes, for teras kasis(polticians could place these meditate gardens in player cities?) or actually any kind of content that makes us a bit more uniqe??? Maybe a special deathblow command?


5)Now when their are comming changes to KD/Dizzy, will we be getting a bleed move?

2. When you balance the other 3 brawler classes to match us?

1. What changes are certain to hit our profession in the upcoming patches?


2. When will cob be fixed?


3. New damage type? If yes, which one. If yes, when.


4. New weapons? If yes, which one(s). If yes, at what levels and when?


5. Are we getting kata's? If yes, which one(s), and when.


6. Will we be getting "combo string" attacks that combine/stack as we sucessfully hit opponents? Or will UH3 remain supreme?


7. What do the devs see as the purpose/role of TKA in the overal scheme of things?


8. Will we ever be able to "kip" up from a prone position. (because it would be really really cool if we could)


9. Will we ever get different stances so we look less like boxers, and more like martial artists?


10. Are we going to be nerfed?

Same question I was interested it. Also a DoT would be nice. But with the damage we can deal out at master,,hardly see the point at that lvl. Also the question of another damage type
