Thread: Enhanced Melee Speed and TKA Master question

As TKA Master, will the FS Enhanced Melee Speed(and Accurracy for that matter) benefit me at all? Or is master as fast as you can get??

From what I have read, the FS enhanced movements will be faster. All the melee people I have talked to say the FS enhanced techniques are nice.

I was given the impression that as a TKM you are already at your speed cap of 1 second so the force enhancements made no difference. It's only really a Swordsman or Pikeman that benefit from them as they donot hit their sped cap at Master level.

Yes, you are at the speed cap of 1 hit every second at Master. I can only see that as being good for swordsman and such.

i have read this in more than one place as well. personally i DO believe that the FS speed increase will help ALL melee classes. i could very well be wrong, but i don't think that i am. the speed cap is not there because they CAN'T make it faster, it is there because that was what was chosen for professions.
it is more than possible to make specials hit faster than 1 per second. that level would be reserved for FS characters who have taken up the speed trees of the FS branches.

But it doesn't happen. If you could attack more than once per second with FS skills you'd see it posted all over these boards.

TKM speed does not change with FS melee speed line. Those FS skills do not push you under that1 second cap.
TKM's rarely miss even the most heavily juiced up def stackers. Accuracy is rather pointless.
Give me FS Unarmed DMG mods then I'll start getting excited

From what I have gathered theone second cap is a hardware limitation, therefore rendering the ability to hit faster than once per second impossible.

If it were not capped I would expect some really odd things happening.
Since TKA have 100+ speed, and its a linear based system.
Simply hitting "Attack" would instantaneously kill the creature or NPC, since there are no delays between attacks all of em happen at one time 
Not to mention the horrendous amount of lag.

I plan on taking melee speed because I plan on using a lightsaber someday.
