Thread: just made tka master in 6 days
you're like the 10th person to post something like this...
Sorry the best I've seen Is 4 days. My personal best was 5 days.
I wish you guys would just stop with this gay bragging nonsense....
Did I mention I single handedly killed all the Imperial in the town of Bestine last night and meditated on the hill over looking the city for and hour while an overt rebel?
How are you guys leveling this fast? I am just starting TKA and would love to know.

Being a master doctor helps leveling Melee'ers a great deal (all others to i suppose..bue expecially melee'ers). Self buffs of well over 1000 per stat...makes solo'ing pretty easy.
First off, congrats on achieving Master.
Secondly, any TK Novice reading this thread I would highly encourage you to take your time on your way to master, for in the end you'll have your master title and nothing to do with it. Enjoy your journey, learn your specials, know your abilities.
Any profession can be a "badass." It isn't the character, it is the player behind it who makes it good or bad.
No disrespect intended as this it one of the professions I had a very hard time killing as commando. I got a holo that told me to master TKA so I want to move up it as fast as I can. If i like it Imay come back to it later in life.
well if your a creature handler you can have your pets tank for you while you do the damage. you can get giant baz nitch missions on dathomir and recieve about 4k per kill. 6 to a lair, and 11k creds.
you could also have master doc, and buff yourself fighting the same creatures. leveling quickly is all about knowing where to hunt, having the time to do, and supplementing your TKA abilties with a powerful support profession as a secondary (IE Creature Handler, or Doctor).
I'd say it's all about going slow. After hitting Novice, I got frustrated, for some reason, and wanted something else to do, so I got Master Brawler. I am stopping there though. I looked into the defensive mods for the other melee classes, so I'm going for those too. I am almost Novice in all melee skills. Havent really decided what I am going to do from there. Cause thats when the big grind kicks in.
Basically, take your time and enjoy it. I've had the game since launch, and wanted TKM since then.
The joy of holocrons in full swing.
I'm coming up thru the TKA ranks at my own leisure and am enjoying the process. I hope to have master in a week or so. If it's longer, no biggie. I enjoy the profession & am not in it because some box told me I had to. I deleted my old character & created this one simply to be a TKM. I suppose I could turn it into a mind numbing chore and grind it like some artisan profession, but where's the fun in that? I know when I started as novice brawler, it was work killing a stinkin' rill, but last night I soloed a Mountain Squill and while I've killed tons of them with a tank, that was my first straight up. I liked it so well, I killed about a dozen more. ![]()
The more I experiment, the more I learn and the more fun I have. For those who grind thru it so they can get another box that can dictate to them what they do next, congrats. It's just that my tendencies are more towards independent thought. I don't require a cube to tell me what I need to do next. ![]()
Holocron told me to be tka... basically gave me a kick in the butt to go out and do something new. I've been having a blast with it. I soloed a swamp trooper (those north of moenia) for the first time!!
TKA is a lot of fun.
I'm still adjusting to the melee playing style, and I've developed some combos (stun, blind, UA2) or (lunge, UA2). ![]()
