Gotta love the players who get to Master so fast they haven't had time to actually learn the skill. They make us look bad. But I guess then people underestimate us. Oh well.

I gotta agree with Bulbous here. I don't think I would knowtheuses of all theTeras Kasi skills as well if I hadn't taken my time on the path from Novice to Master. And I think sometimes people still underestimate our abilities in pvp, but why not, means more faction points for me.

I'd have to agree that people who rush through their profession hardly know what to do with it when they finally reached their goal because their are exluded from multiple akward situations they would have found themselves in and it reduces their knowledge of adaptation and proper use of their skills. And for those of you who are trying to get nice exp fast, i have a tip that i've been using lately i'm sure some one has posted it before but just incase some of you dont know this: you can use war cry and knockdown in combination to make the creature stay on the ground for the duration of the war cry (kind of like dizzy for your two legged NPC's) and if you have war cry two, you it'll be even easier, in general this reduces the amount of hits you take while at the same time giving you a nice damage modifier from them being knocked down. And what is this i hear about 1/1/1/1 fencers killing TKA's, who are these newbs making us look bad?

I keep hearing the argument that those who got their skills fast are not actually learning how to use those skills. I would argue that the two best ways of getting XP (Huurton Stalker missions and the Tusken Fort) give a pretty solid education. In order to do it efficiently you have to:

1. Learn to pull aggro mobs one at a time.

2. Learn how to efficiently macro your specials for best results.

3. Learn your role in group (Tusken Fort).

4. Learn which specials to use at what time and how to conserve HAM.

etc.

About the only thing you don't pick up is PVP tactics, which is a whole different ballgame anyway. I see your point, but it is shortsided to snobbishly put down others just because they are advancing quickly. Honestly, onceyou hit novice it is hard NOT to advance quickly.

My two cents.

Considering so many use vks exclusively I don't know how they a lot of people conserve their HAM. I got word from a friend of mine that he as a novice beat a master. Both had equipped their vks, but his opponent was using all the specials while he was barely using any if at all.

I honestly feel no pity towards people who use their vks and spend their HAM on special after special to surprisingly find themselves on their back. If they knew how to use their TKA fighter correctly they'd be incapped because their opponent was better or minor mistakes.
