Have you tried unarmed Lunge? It works wonders on slowing them enough to take them out. Just hope that you can finish them before their poison gets you. It is a tough fight and welcomed by me. It tests me and my abilities. I haven't been up against any melee/CM's so they all try to keep distance from me. Also make sure that you have all the mind enhancements possible. If you can finish the encounter in time to meditate away the poison, you win. Unfortunately (last night for me in fact), you can kill the CM but still die if his poison is powerful enough.

Poison by itself cannot incap you, but if you are diseased and poisoned at the same time it will

I'm getting really bored of CM templates, CM-Pistoleers, CM-Fencers, CM-Swordsmen, CM-Riflemen...
What's your strat against them? Bear in mind that with CM-(melee) KD will work but, after many hits. Plus I've lost to a rifleman that got KDed+Dizzy and got up instantly...
PS. Right now I'm TKm and Fencer 0432 and always fight with VKs. I'm a die hard TKa, never gonna drop it.

4040 Doc is the only way to survive against them. You can get TKM along with that and have 33 points left-over to play with.

You could always get Master Doctor instead of just dabbling in it. CM's don't bother me that much, unless there is a Pikeman stacking DOT's on me too

Yo™..
Because of CM being so powerful..unless you have Doc 4-0-4-0.you will pretty much get OWNED.
Players will argue and say that they do just fine in PVP.
Im sure they will..if there arent any Combat Medics around.
Prime example last night..we were in a guild War..players on Team Speak & Ventrilo.
And All you hear is:
I've been poisend!
I've been Dieased!
MEDIC!
Where are the Docs!
Can I get a heal?
ok im Down! Incap!!
While I stood there..fighting and healing myself.
In the currrent state that PVP is you have to have Doc Skills.
Im currently
TKM
Doc 4-0-4-0
Fencer 3-0-4-0

I participated in a raid a couple weeks ago, where there was an imperial combat medic on the other side (I'm rebel on Kett), and I kept being repeatedly poisoned, nearly 6 times in a row, through walls, of course. When I wasn't fighting anyone, I tried to find some corner behind a wall in the base to meditate to relieve my poison and disease. When I'm fighting in a group, I usually try to be the good samaritan and say "heal others first because I can meditate my stuff away." Of course, that only works if the combat medic isn't throwing repeated poisons through walls.
Basically, I'd stop to meditate, be meditating for about 2 seconds before I was hit with another mind poison, thereby breaking my meditating sessions. I'm not a doc so I couldn't heal myself immediately, I had to rely on the meditate. But, you know, if there are only 2 docs in a group, who are also getting poisoned, and having to deal with trying to heal 30 other people, it's just not going to work, no matter how many Teras Kasi are around who are trying to cure themselves. Because, like I said, you keep getting hit with repeated mind poisons and diseases and you basically have no chance. Right now, the most effective profession, by far, besides Jedi, is the combat medic. I'm glad to see that the devs are finally trying to do something about this imbalance.
I've always been an advocate of doing professions that you want to do and that you enjoy, rather than just picking up skills to be as uber as possible. As such, it's just not an option for every Teras Kasi (and every other combat profession for that matter) to pick up doc skills just to stand an inkling of a chance against combat medics. It would be an awful boring game, not to mention interdependence ruining if everyone and their mother has to pick up doc skills just to avoid dying within minutes during a raid. Right now, unfortunately, that's the only option. Hence, because I decide not to do that because I want to play professions that I personally enjoy, I tend to die a lot in PvP due to combat medics. I'm looking forward to the devs balancing things so that the CM's are not so overpowered so that we can all enjoy doing the professions that we enjoy, and still participate in the GCW without dying within 10 minutes due to repeated poisonings.

I have Master Docjust for all the Disease/Poision/States/Rez's
It really does help in PVP.Plus you can buff yourself!
I suppose though you could dabble in it and do all of the above too.
