Thread: Does TKA CoB work ? and Dodge Food?

I hope anyone can answer this...didnt have the time to test this yet:
1. Does Dodge Food like Aircake help TK? Or does it only help Fencer and Pistoleer?
2. How good does Defensive Acuity do? And does CoB help it in PvE? in PvP?
(think as it works in PvE..as without it i never use to block/dodge/counterattack, with CoB on, i do...sometimes
)

Air cake works, but has nothing to do with fencer/pistoleer dodge
CoB seems to work since a little while

Saddly, I -THINK- it only increases fencer and pistoleers. In the description it states: "Increases your chances of dodging an attack". Well, from my experiences TKM didn't have chances to dodge to increase. But I could be wrong.
Hope this helps a tad, or brings further speculation.

Dodge food does work..read your combat..when taking dodge food..it indicates that "Your enemy misses you"
COB doesnt work.

Do you guys find stacking ranged and melee defence the only way to do it then ?

ah...i thought +dodge addes your chance to dodge...and not for your enemy to miss O_o

hmm i'm really not exactly certain but i have a friend who is master rifleman/master swordsman and dabbling in tka, and when he was getting tka, i was looking in the combat log and he NEVER got hit, all he did was block counter attack, and make them miss, it was really awesome, i was assuming that defensive acuity worked with everything at the same, time, but not as powerful as just having like pure block, or pure counter attack or pure dodge, it won't work as much, but with the mix of the two it seems to work a ton. This is just from looking at a combat log of a friend though, so i'm not positive this is the truth, maybe someone could come and clear it up. but for now thats what i believe.

ok on dodge food i am sure at 99% i saw a dev post that said that add a % to your defece rating (both mele and ranged) that have nothing to do with dodge skill. That why ppl miss you more often. About defence acuite, i have no idea (

So dodge food works...now we need some advice on TK CoB...as i see it, it does work in PvE (even if not as good as swordsman's) ... but i never see this in PvP :/

Maybe, 1 of 3 things might happen with CoB in Combat Balance:
1: Our defense acuity will work and we will be even more feared ! !
2: They removed all COBS from all melee.
3: They might just give us either dodge or counter attack or block.

I have not had a chance to test the effect of Air Cake yet; but, it is in my queue of things to test in the coming week. Maybe someone can beat me to the initial testing. *crosses fingers*
