I wear ubese bracers, that's all though. Well I put comp on for the krayt.... but mostly I just wear a duster or a my ubese bracers. If things get hectic I'll equip a VK to calm the pack a bit.
I did take a NS initiate, 2 sentinels, 2 spellweavers with only my bracers, buffed of course. Was a fun fight

I have been TKM for several months now and very RARELY wear armor. My outfit consists BE shirt and pants, 80% kinetic comp boots and gloves. I run all over Tempest dueling othersthat weararmor and without. I like to say that I hold my own against some of the best. When I do Janta/Mokk missions I dont even consider the thought of armor (they die to fast). On Dath I will throw some on when the mobs get to big. The only time that I won't do without armor is when I play tank against NS elders, Krayt, GDK's, etc.

Just buff yourself, wear some coollookin clothing
, and then go hunt some Janta / Mokks. Your HAM will fall quickly if you just stand there and try to take the beating. Just us Unarmed Knockdown 2, then wail away with Unarmed Hit 3. You have to kill them quickly, since they'll attack 4 or 5 at a time, which isn't good news for you

Pair of non BE shorts, a non BE flex form top and a pair of sandals are my usual pve clothes for Janta missions etc, and for a lot of other stuff, although I will throw on a comp helmet, chest gloves and boots for stuff like NS or Krayt.
For pvp I tend to chop and change really, sometimes I'll wear the stun comp, sometimes I won't, a lot of the time I just wear my 25/25 med use dress and a stun helm, works a treat.

I tend to avoid armor as much as possible, it just doesn't mesh with my idea of a TKM. I do on occasion use a set of Ubese armor for something like a Krayt hunt. I can honestly say I have never owned a set of composite armor and have no plans to in the future.

Only time I wore armor was when I was grinding, and then I used a set of Ubese. Other than that, the only armor I wear is Ubese gloves, and thats just for the look. Although it does do some good by stopping some hits here and there. I don't even get buffed that often either, besides using mind foods. I figure I'm not saving all those crates of Stim Bs, theres nothing keeping me from burning through them.
I hate armor. Always have. Its completely normal to be taking that much damage. Its just a lot of people are so used to taking NO [noticeable] damage at all, they're overwhelmed when they aren't buffed or wearing armor.

dont wear armor, have a nice set of ceremonial wookiee armor, but its furniture (bought it for that reason actually)
wear a BE bandolier for stun melee mods, have a couple rings for ranged mods, but mainly have a secure template. I rarely get hit, and if i do, its not for much. I dont use VKs either, for I take more damage from them then my opponents, and dont hit for much more or faster using them.

Whenever I'm not fighting, yes, I will wear what we call "clothing". But the moment I have to fight something nasty, I will equip my 80% kinetic resistance armor. It's sad that everyone resorts to this, but when everyone is doing it, why shouldn't I either?

I dont mind working within the confines of the game. Things are balanced and created this way for a reason. If were not meant to fight upper level content without armor, then we would have more toughness, or toughness would act as sort of resistance to all damage types... if we could truly get toughness up, have defensive acuity working, then I would be fine if they did not allow us to wear armor (ala jedi) while fighting.
These kind of sweeping changes could only happen during the combat balance, but probably a good idea to think about it for when the in concept threadsstart.

I'm a TKM/Master Doc, when I made TKM I figured I would wear BE clothing, buff, and be fine. But now I find myself taking quite a bit of damage. Lately all I'm doing it janta and mokk missions, with my comp armor my HAM doesn't really fall at all, but in clothes sometimes I drop to 75% or less, is that normal? Or is the melee damage mitigation just not as much as I expected?

I dont wear armor but whenI pvp I wear a stun helmet and a chest plate with a very high base and good energy kinetic resist. You never get hit anywere except the head and chest in pvp most of the time except for a few specials like the scatter hit from fencer and a few others. Just wearing bracers is kinda pointless because you rarely get hit in the arms. Alot of pvpers wear all composite but the arms. If you wear a full set for a while you see which parst decay the fastest. My 2 cents lol.

Well personally i think you are all foolish to not wear any armor mainly because the "good" pvpers on my server can wipe you out before you have a chance wearing no armor. There is a commando who Flames for 3500 dmg if your not wearing armor usually leaving you with no ham to heal. Though i do pvp (not pve) without armor some, just make sure to stun and intimidate.
