Actually, the Teras Kasi were a secret society. They were some times called the "Jedi Watchers" because they monitored the Old Order's activities, even killing some Jedi if they thought they got too out of hand.

The Teras Kasi Artist should a form of melee Bounty Hunter. Things would have to be drastically different than the ranged 'true' Bounty Hunter, but it would be nice to see.

Wouldn't it be cool if TK's had access to the bh terminals. Would have to switch around the prereq's but it'd be nice to see a melee version of BH.

the Fact that TKA were jedi hunters is a well known fact that has been verified by numerous EU books. The Teras kasi arts were developed for the purposes of keep the jedi in check, b/c after their planet was destroyed by jedi they felt that no one should have that type of power.

No Cango is right. All the Jedi hunting stuff is from Fan Fiction. Just it's taht widly spread alot of people do get it mixed up with EU stuff.

The TK Art is simply a fighting style, though it was invented after a fight involving Jedi it wasn't designed with Jedi in mind, just as a form of defence.

The argument you have mentioned their is even one I thought true untill I looked in to it more (after a similar discussion with Atama from the TKA CU Team) & it did turn out that it is fan fiction on the whole Jedi hunting & watching etc.

TKA in the EU information is acctuly very very limited, it's mostly just very quickly touched on & then left. I think the most indepth TKA information in any one book is simply that Darth Maul used the TK Art to improve his saber forms & stances.

because that forces you (with pub 20) to take 3 trees of useless skills, needless to say it creates a very gimped template with all those "wasted" SP and means you'll only ever be a BH term bottom feeder, since paddies will be all you will be able to take, provided they have no non-jedi skills

A very cool piece of fan fiction i might add, and besides am i the only one who thinks the expanded universe is Fan Fiction, not the vision of George Lucas? i mean thats what makes star wars special, fan fiction, and its adaptation to accept that, anything outside the movies is fan fiction, so wheres point in saying its untrue, after all the expanded universe is as much star wars as me saying Wedge Antilles later became the head of the Second Empire, in the novel Wedge Takes the Universe, who cares blah blah let everyone have fun with star wars as they see fit, thats the beauty of it

Don't get things mixed up in that the EU is only stuff that has been officaly endorced by Lucas Film / Arts / Books. Anything else is simply Fan Fiction (unless it's Cannon which only includes the films Lucas made).

& acctuly George Lucas has very little to do with the EU, all he really cares about are his films. The EU is made by authors who simply do things how they want as long as Lucas Arts/Film/Books aproves them. The biggest problem with Fan Fiction is that it always contridicts stuff somewhere along the line, where as in the EU, while contridictions do happen (I have heard there is an EU book where Luke finds Mace for example), they occour alot less.

In fact even SWG is technicly part of the EU, however very much an alternive course of events (mostly due to all the Jedi).

What really makes Star Wars so good is simply the authors that spend their time to write their books & really go in to things where unlike GL who, since he was using film & not paper, couldn't be as in depth. The New Jedi Order series is a great example paticuly the Enermy Lines Duology in my opinion.
