In the expanded universe much like the jedi, the TKA had a dark side to there order. My suggestion is that at some point the Devs make a fallen TKA profession for all the people that want to Roll Play a dark character. Unlike other professions I would make Fallen TKA requior mastering TKA first. This would make it an Elite Elite profession... much like the City planer was supposed to be.

Advantages:

An Elite Elite profession would be very powerful combat wise.

Would be great for Roll Players like me who want to play a bad guy and lure people to the dark side

New skills.

Disadvantages:

Due to it being an Elite Elite profession a Master Fallen TKA would not have many skill point left to mess with. Ideally I would hope that someone choosing to be a Fallen TKA would give up almost all other skill pointsin order to gain greater power.

Fallen TKA would not have enough skill points leftto get anywhere near novice doctor. This would help balance the good TKAs from the evil ones. The good TKAs can spend skill points in other professions making them unpredictable while a fallen TKA would be just as powerful but more predictable.

So... Given the option would you like to see a Fallen TKA profession?

not sure if i could work with the limited skill points given unless they made like the jedi proffesion were you devote all skills to it like with becoming jedi iniate it takes up all 250 skill points but it could be a fun idea i would do it. They could make fallen ter kasi like the enemy of the galaxy. It would be pretty cool

i love this idea! i dunno about you other ppl out there... but being a raging imperial isn't enough for me. i want to be DARK. this would suit me perfectly. i don't know about the whole elite ELITE profession. ppl will start crying and whining and pissing and moaning that they don't have anything like that. i'm so sick of that i could... i could... turn into a dark TKA and... and do something... i dunno... DARK. this is a beautiful idea!

Great idea, only problem with this is.....people will **edit** and whine that they want a Dark Rifleman, Dark Swordsman, Dark Smuggler. You name it, they'll want it dark. No matter what is done to this game, if it is absolutely perfect in every way shape or form, and satisfies most, you can't satisfy everyone. No matter how hard you try.

Just one question, though. Why would a fallen TKA, i.e. one who was removed from the order, be more powerful than a TKA who continued his training? If you're suggesting something similar to the Dark Jedi, remember that Dark Jedi and Jedi Knoights are on par with each other.

Actually I have two Ideas on how the Devs could implement the Fallen TKA....

Idea #1. It is an Elite Elite profession with little skill points left to work with once you hit Fallen Master TKA. Im not even saying that an Elite Elite brawler class has to be strong, I just want it for Roll Playing. (see above)

Idea #2. Make it simmilar to my above idea of an Elite Elite profession but in order to become a fallen TKA you must first surrender you TKA skills.

Example: A player has just finished mastering TKA. That player is so proud of there new found power, but they hunger for more. At some point the Master TKA is approached by an NPC with an offer of great power. This great power comes at a catch in that in order to get this great power you must surrender your TKA skills. Once you agree to surrender all your TKA skills the NPC gives the player a secret waypoint to the Fallen TKA NPC trainer.

I actually like Idea #2, because it is a sacrifice and it would allow current TKA to keep the other professions that you don't want to get rid of. It would also keep the Fallen TKA balanced with the other Elite professions, rather than having it be an Elite Elite.

Me, I don't even care if fallen TKA are weak compaired to regular TKA, but I just want to roll play a bad guy like the sith. Problem is that I have no chance of becoming a jedi so we need a profession that anyone can obtain to roll play a bad guy. Since Fallen TKA are in the Expanded Universe just as regular TKA are, I hope that the Devs can find a way to have both professionsexist in Galaxies.

Also:

Under Idea #1 a Master TKA would be weak compared to a Master Fallen TKA.

Example: Master TKA < Master Fallen TKA

But remember that a Master TKA still has a lot of skill point to throw around and a Master Fallen TKA has very little skill points left. So....

Example: Master TKA+ Master Doctor > or=Master Fallen TKA

Under Idea #2 a Master TKA and a Master Fallen TKA would be rather equill in power, but have much different skills and abilities.

Example: Master TKA = Master Fallen TKA

Example: Master TKA + Master Doctor = Master Fallen TKA + Master Doctor

Not going to flame..

I don't like this idea,if you want to be a dark.. "anything" then go jedi... According to the bounty hunters that is all there is going to be in a couple months.

If you want more power with TKA then pick up a profession to compliment.. The skill points required for TKA is paltry compared to the power you want.. Stuff from the expanded universe does not apply here.. If it did then give me a Ysalamiri and Darth Vader and the imperor would be at my mercy.

To say the expanded universe does not apply is stupid. Did you ever see a TKA in the movies? Did you ever see dark troopers in the movies? Did you ever see Creature Handlers? (that guy in jabbas palace was only the rancors keeper, not a handler)

I don't want more Power Wamphyrri, I just want to roll play someone who was once a good guy and then fell to the dark side. I want to be a character that choose to abandon the teachings of the Tera Kasi in favor of a profession that better reflected the characters personality of greed and power.

I would have to say no. I believe that currently all the Dark side that is needed is Jedi, but thats just my opinion tho. With not being thoroughly knowledgeable in the SW EU, where is there a story/history of there being Dark TKA at? All that i can think of is the one instance of it in the Arden Lyn thing.

If the Fallen become an elite elite profession, shouldn't there be trained Palawans to combat the threat? I'd love to see a side war where fallen tka's are duking it out with those still retained to the light. In this case, Master TKA should be just the begining...

Where in the EU are falen TKA mentioned. There is barely any mention of TKA. So where are the dark tka.

For rolepalying you dont need a new tka profesion. Juwst role play it. /Mood evil and then use your emagination.

Then go on and role play.. everyday people keep trying to add something they saw in the old paper rpg, a book and yes even a fansite with fanfic on it, to create a new type of character/elite profession...

And if you are pulling the stuff from EU then lets pull the stuff from Dark Horse comics as well... According to them Darth Maul studied Teras Kasi.

You aren't talking about role playing.. You want a new toon.

A friend of a guy that picks up trash for a lady, that knows this kid, whose sister makes out with a jockey, who was arrested by an officer, who beat up a bum, who had a dark horse comic that stated Darth Maul studied Teras Kasi.

Anaken was a creature handler... In attack of the Clones, if you read his lips, he distinctly says "easy... don't bite me" then he mounted the beast and rode it.

I am surprised that you didn't say you would like a "light saber knuckler".

You can either "Roll play" around.... whatever that is.. is that anything like role-play? Or not.. I just think the whole thing about creating a new character so you can have the word "Fallen" or "Dark" above your head.
