To say the expanded universe does not apply is stupid. Did you ever see a TKA in the movies? Did you ever see dark troopers in the movies? Did you ever see Creature Handlers? (that guy in jabbas palace was only the rancors keeper, not a handler)

Well...in the movies...I noticed That Jango and Obi-Wan seemed to have good fist fighting skills in AotC...and Obi-Wan was even able to fist fight against someone in a full suit of Manalorian armor (which in my opinion is dumb, because Jango seemed to be getting hurt when his armor should have been hurting Obi-Wan's hands...and Jango also could have whipped out those spikes from his arms when he was fist fighting Obi-Wan).

As for creature handler, I noticed that the Gungans had several animals that they rhode during that battle in The Phantom Menace...

And also, you never know what the capabilities of those characters in the background are

Don't get me started on nit picking

I said "stupid" because you made an Ignorant statment. The Devs used a lot of stuff from the Expanded Universe, heck this game is part of the Expanded Universe. When the Space expansion comes out expect to see a lot of ships you didn't see in any of the movies.

And just so you know... there is an edit button

You're a veteran so you have one, he's not so he doesn't.

It does sound interesting but I don't see the need for it myself.

Are the fallen that different from the true TKA? I mean, it's not like we get force powers , we are limited to physical attacks so we are rather limited in what an 'evil' TKA could do from a'good' TKA.

Will have to go with the people who day 'just rp it' on this one...

Star Wars Galaxies is part of the Expanded Universe... That is a stupid statement.

Fallen TKA is a dumb idea for this game.

I like the idea of a fallen TKA.

But i do not like that a dark tka is stronger than a light tka. It does not make sense to me that a dark tka is better with vks than a light one, having the same experience.

The dark side is never stronger, just more tempting.

Let's also be realistic here mates!

Creating a hole new tka proffesion would take to long time if you ask me!

Why not, change little things. Like titels... Maybe the red stuff(ribbons).... to a dark color... change little tweaks to them, and just try to make them feel evil!

If you ask me, it should just be an option to choose between good or dark, after unarmed 4!

Then of course another problem could come... a master light tka and master dark tka, template. lol... check does skill mods out

My rant

OH YES!!! 5 stars for this post, I hope the devs will keep this in mind!!!

I mean... please, make an Elite Elite Teras Kasi profession! make us twice as powerful as we already are! We'll kick any Jedi butt within seconds.

BTW, as this may sound sarcastic, I may be, but the chances of this happening will never happen. People are complaining that my Teras Kasi Master + Master Doctor character is cheap because I'm just too powerful... if I had a chance to make myself even more stronger I could take down a city on my own. lol

You guys are totally missing the point. I don't care if Fallen TKA are stronger or not, I want it for the Role Playing.

The Elite Elite idea was just a suggestion. Besides, that doesn't mean that an Elite Elite would be any more powerfull. Every character in the game has the same amount of skill points to spend. An Elite Elite profession would have very little skill points left to work with, while a regular TKA has enough skill points left to master Doctor.

Edit: Actually It wouldn't be that bad if there was an Elite Elite brawler profession... Then all the nerf winers wouldattack that profession and leave TKA alone

I don't know what to say, you'd rather spend another 70 skill points just so you can get a title like "Fallen Teras Kasi Master?"

I would go for something like that but only if i got similar feats as in the table top roleplaying games. I would want to be able to repel force powers, detect force sensitivity, block lightsabres with my fists, etc. And I would want better defense mods and cooler offensive moves.

Jedi are in the game, and they have the potential to become a Elite Elite profession if the player doesn't loose his/her skill boxes do to deaths.

I'm not saying this for the purpose of being mean, only to let you know what I think of this idea (not you, just this idea).

This is one of the single stupidest ideas I've seen proposed on this forum, IMO.

1) There are SO many issues in the game that have more actual importance than adding another profession. There are hundreds of known bugs, some of which are EXTREMELY common (game locking up randomly comes to mind), and there are ongoing efforts to balance the professions that already exist.

2) Professions are not a life outlook or system of morality. If you want to play an evil TKA, then play a TKA and act "evil." If I want to play a "wacky chef" does it make sense that there be an "elite elite" chef class that's "wacky" on top of being "chef?" No, I just play a chef and roleplay to the extent of my ability.

3) Why only fallen TKA and not fallen fencers, or armorsmiths, or creature handlers? Are you one of those that thinks "dark jedi are kewl" and wants an easier alternative?

4) There are barely any TKAs in the star wars continuity, much less an entire sub set of "fallen" TKAs. From a "starwarsy" perspective how could anyone justify time and effort on this idea?

There are a lot more reasons why this is a bad idea, but I think you get the point.
