Okies, I'd just like to set this whole thing in place and clear some stuff up. There is the Teras Kasi Martial Art, and the Teras Kasi Order. The Teras Kasi Martial Art is whats in game right now... thats what a TKM is, thats what Darth Maul was.. he was a TKM/Sithwith a dual bladed lightsaber. Then there is the Teras Kasi Order, they were created by the Bunduki after a war that took place on their home planet... the jedi happened to be involved in this war. Now the order was created to keep the jedi in check and to destroy any Jedi they knew about that fell to the darkside, because they hated chaos or something and Dark Jedi brought chaos, but at this point in the continuum, with the jedi all but extinct they are Force Sensitive Martial Artists, the order ... not the art. When the Jedi started coming back , the Teras Kasi order went back to its old ways of watching and policing the Jedi Order. Oh, one last thing, the Jedi did fear and respectthe Teras Kasi.... THE ORDER not the Artists. Anywho whatI think would be cool would be an extra Force Sensitive character that could be made, but would take up the slot, and would be one of the Teras Kasi Order... not the art, and would have access to force powers and better defensive abilities and whatnot, and the goal of this Order would be to keep the Jedi in check in some way and watch they as they very slowly start to arise again, maybe they could be involved in messing with Dark jedi or something.

P.S. I posted this in the Jedi Watchers thread but felt it deserved its own so more ppl could see it.

Ever noticed that a Doc in real life goes by M.D.?
Well does that mean they are a Master Doctor aswell?

Your entire post just contradicted your subject line.

You also said:"the Jedi did fear and respectthe Teras Kasi.... THE ORDER not the Artists"

That makes no sense. Thats like saying You fear the bullet, not the gun....hell the bullet is no good without the gun. The Teras Kasi Order is no good without the Teras Kasi Artists. As a matter of fact there is no Order without the Artists.

Im sorry dude...not flamming you but this was pointless.

Oh by the way...Arden Lyn was not force sensitive and she was sent by the Emperor to kill Luke Skywalker....All she was, was a Teras Kasi Master.

The ORDER are the feared ones, not because they practice TK, but because they're an ORDER dedicated to watching/policing the Jedi.

To use your analogy, you're not scared of a gun sitting on a table, but you are when somebody's leveling it at you.

The Order are the "intent", the art is merely the weapon and, as such, is not to be feared, as it has no motives. Extending that, a practitioner of TK is NOT to be feared as a "Jedi Killer" UNLESS he makes a conscious decision to BECOME one.

Dude think about it, They didn't fear the Non-order because they were not trained to combat Dark jedi and keep the jedi in check. If you really thought about it you would realize a Teras Kasi who wasn't part of the secret order would really know how to resist force powers and dodge lightsabers now would he? THe Order took the martial arts even further, that's the difference, people keep wanting tka in the game to be these uber force sensitives, when they are not... The Order was because they learned to do it, its just like the select few of people with were not jedi but used lightsabers... like that one jedi killing mandalorian from KoToR who wielded 2 lightsabers.

As yes but Arden Lynn was part of the order, she wasn't some goof who just learned how to beat the crap outta people. And being force sensitive doesn't necessarily mean you use force powers, but are attuned to the force, the Teras kasi order could sense disturbances and prescences of force-users.

Shouldn't the GUN represent the order and the BULLET represent the TKA's? The gun supplies the bullet (after you load it, of course), and the bullet is the TKA that comes out to fight...

Also, a bullet CAN be effective without a gun...If you can get the enemy to get the bullet stuck in his throat...

ok, lets try this another way....since people seem to be confuesed still.....

I can go down to the local martail arts school and start studying Ninjitsu, fast forward and behld i have balch belt in it. does this mean im a Ninja?? No.I studied one of the forms that the Ninja used but not the whole spiritual side of it.

thats kinda liek the TKAs in SWG they are people off the street that learn the FORM of Teras Kasi not the enter body and mind altering spiritual side of it.

yes it would be cool to have FS Character that can do the whole spiritual side of TKA but first they would have to master the form then have another "grand master" skill tree as its been called before.

Unimpressive. You're obviously unfamiliar with intellectual argument. I don't see ANY evidence supporting your claims.

There is no Teras Kasi Order in the EU and I will tell you why. There are exactly three EU cannon sources which mention Teras Kasi. 1. Shadows of the Empire 2. Agents of Chaos II 3. Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter.

But you were right that TKAs are neither Jedi Hunters nor watchers, although you didn't know why.
