Thread: PVP hints and tips!?!
you get owned? lol i am 2243 and i own..i have tryed to fight every professon..i have killed master bh..master commando, master carbineers..pistoleers..all of em..i think that master brawler helps alot..and i use lunge insted of unarmed knockdown. it has longer range..i took 2 bh on at the same time..and pistoleer helps alot i am trickshot..i only got it for the defences..oh and use /follow...that has helped me so many times..when those ranged peps try to run you dont have to worry about following them, and you can worry about ur stats.

The biggest things to me are this:
FIGHT IN CLOSE QUARTERS - if you can keep the fight within a building or a dungeon or just close you should winevery time.
DON'T DRAW ATTENTION TO YOURSELF UNTIL YOU CAN HIT YOUR ENEMY- this won't work unless you're in a fight with multiple people on each side, but I only fight in the GCW so this happens quite often. I won't say anything more for fear of my tactics losing their edge.
These may seem hard to do given all the different ways and places fights get started, but really they're not. As a melee character, you have to choose your battlefield becausegunman will alwayshave the advantage of range, though you have the advantage of damage and (more so) accuracy.
Everything people have already stated should help you out just rememberto think out there. Most people either don't think much in battle or are thinking about what they're doing and what they see which gives you the advantage if you have a plan and can make them do what you want.

If they have a gun -AVOID getting shot, i find that when i fight people with guns that when they shot me is when the most damage occurs.
If they have a pet - DON'T let the pet kill you- in most cases when the pet "incaps" you they win, avoid this if at all possible.
Melee - If find that incapacitated opponents tend to hit me less, do less damage, and cannot perform special manuevers on me. The objective here is to incapacitate them before they incap you. In many cases the incap is followed with a "death blow" I got Death Blown once along 8 mile road in Detroit, but that a story for a different thread entirely.
I will try to use a few more different tactics, i will post the results here, but the above onesseem to be the most effective in PVP.
Hope that helps.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're trying to say. What is the tip here?
lol i was just about to post that too, i have no **edit**ing clue what he just talked about.![]()
i have a attack and /follow macro made for duels and raids, i hit the macro and i initiate battle, and auto follow them so it's easier to hit my other moves while i'm getting near them.
i also lunge them if they're trying to run and then kd2 them, and then spam unarmedhit3, preety simple.
