Make sure you use buffs and armour. Don't try to fight ranged fighters in the open.. Use buildings and walls to get them close enogh to knock down or change posture on.

Attack the mind pool on most everyone you fight.

Here is what I have picked up, it may no be much but...

More often than not TKs kill themselves spamming a KD (1 or 2) with VKs on. Don't do that. Take the Vks off, then when the KD takes go haead and put them on. This should save most ppl about 100 Action points or more (not much but it could mean the difference between winning and losing).

Based on what ever template you have...

I highly recommend getting some pistoleer and or smuggler. Unarmed KD, Low blow, and Panic shot can stack. You cannot macro them together, but as soon as your opponent starts to get up, hit them with one of the other 2 which you haven't used. (if all of them take it will give you a good 35 seconds of your opponent being flat on their backs)

I know that many TKAs out there are TKM / MD. However I personally decided to go, and highly recommend going CM 4/4/0/4. This will give you terrain negotiation for everyday life as well as a +75 poison range (about 65m). I do this because many of the better fighters out therea are going to try and kite you. With CM you can let them. Let them run, just be sure to stack a couple of mind poisons on them and run the opposite way. A good mind poison will do -400 per click. ---Nasty.

Always carry food and drink.

Out of all the fights you've been in, how many times have you been set on fire?? Consider your armor and, LOW HAM, LOW HAM, LOW HAM!

Get a melee power up, recommend speed and low ham cost (type). then put it on your fastest VK.

Use Intimidate!!!! It lowers the amount of damage they can do to you, as you already know, I 'm just trying to bring it to the front of your mind.

Set up a macro like this, I will use lunge 1 for example but if you have 2, I recommend that; /follow;/unarmedlunge1;/unarmedknockdown2;

...and be sure to hit it the second they start to run!!!

Get an enhanced undershirt and a belt with warcry +14 (each)

MOST OF ALL,talk up your opponent. I mean REALLY PISS HIM OR HER OFF!!! Get them to initiate the duel.

I hope there is at least something in here that you can use.

Goodluck!

If you PvP somone with a gun use composite armor and if you PvP someone who does kenetic damage use high kenetic Ubese, should solve you problem, also you knockdown and warcry.

If they have a gun -AVOID getting shot, i find that when i fight people with guns that when they shot me is when the most damage occurs.

If they have a pet - DON'T let the pet kill you- in most cases when the pet "incaps" you they win, avoid this if at all possible.

Melee - If find that incapacitated opponents tend to hit me less, do less damage, and cannot perform special manuevers on me. The objective here is to incapacitate them before they incap you. In many cases the incap is followed with a "death blow" I got Death Blown once along 8 mile road in Detroit, but that a story for a different thread entirely.

I will try to use a few more different tactics, i will post the results here, but the above onesseem to be the most effective in PVP.

Hope that helps.

My advice for your strategy is don't be a washed up tkm and just use kd2 and unarmed 3. Think about the fight. Warcry and intimidate are vastly under rated. Dizzy, and then lunge will work just as well as kd2. pick their weakest ham, or the part of their body without armor and beat the hell out of it.

you get owned? lol i am 2243 and i own..i have tryed to fight every professon..i have killed master bh..master commando, master carbineers..pistoleers..all of em..i think that master brawler helps alot..and i use lunge insted of unarmed knockdown. it has longer range..i took 2 bh on at the same time..and pistoleer helps alot i am trickshot..i only got it for the defences..oh and use /follow...that has helped me so many times..when those ranged peps try to run you dont have to worry about following them, and you can worry about ur stats.

If you can't kd the fencers, warcry and intimidate them. That should help quite a bit.

As for ranged users, either burst run to them or lure them inside a building, behind a corner so you get them in range.

The biggest things to me are this:

FIGHT IN CLOSE QUARTERS - if you can keep the fight within a building or a dungeon or just close you should winevery time.

DON'T DRAW ATTENTION TO YOURSELF UNTIL YOU CAN HIT YOUR ENEMY- this won't work unless you're in a fight with multiple people on each side, but I only fight in the GCW so this happens quite often. I won't say anything more for fear of my tactics losing their edge.

These may seem hard to do given all the different ways and places fights get started, but really they're not. As a melee character, you have to choose your battlefield becausegunman will alwayshave the advantage of range, though you have the advantage of damage and (more so) accuracy.

Everything people have already stated should help you out just rememberto think out there. Most people either don't think much in battle or are thinking about what they're doing and what they see which gives you the advantage if you have a plan and can make them do what you want.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're trying to say. What is the tip here?

If ya wanna PvP as a TKM you should always get full master doc buffs. Get some good comp armor for the ranged people and kinetic ubese for other TKs. Get some food and muon, you'll need them. Also, keep powerboosting when you can. Burstrun and lunge is important. Try to keep enemies on the ground and dizzied/warcried. Use your VK sparingly. Thats about it...

lol i was just about to post that too, i have no **edit**ing clue what he just talked about.

i have a attack and /follow macro made for duels and raids, i hit the macro and i initiate battle, and auto follow them so it's easier to hit my other moves while i'm getting near them.

i also lunge them if they're trying to run and then kd2 them, and then spam unarmedhit3, preety simple.
