This isn't a whining post or anything like that, I can adapt to whatever changes they make (had to do it many times before). I'm just wondering if anyone can figure out their logic in nerfing our KD/Dizzy and giving Carboneers the power to KD/Dizzy a ton of people in two shots? Seriously,a carboneer can do area KD and area dizzy now and level an intire group! That seems like it is a LOT more powerful than our KD2. I can't make any since in that move. Think that this "nerf" is just a bug?

Your serious, right? Do you ever read the primary reason so many people complain about TKM's?
KD/Dizzy in one move is too powerful to have. I could see it going to BH's since they have to spend so many skill pts, but it probably should be moved to master.
Carbineers, even with their skills being mostly fixed, will not be able to KD/Dizzy groups of people. Two AOE status effects aren't nearly as effective as a single KD/Dizzy attack, at least before the patch.
Oh - and really, back off carbineers. Do you know how long they have been broken? Let them have their moment in the sun, they have earned it.

This is really such a dumb reason. BH's already have the LLC, uber pistol shots, an uber pistol, uber carbine shots, and can hunt Jedi.
SP =! "right to own".

A Carbineer friend of mine did it multiple times last night, so don't tell me that it can't be done

If you read the first line of my post you will read that this was NOT a whining post. I know that carbineer has been broken for a long time and I'm very glad that they got some love for once. I know that they have earned it. I never cry NERF, the only thing I cry (if I cry anything at all) is FIX.My post was never about carbineers being too overpowered or anything. I was only asking if anyone could figure out why they would give one profession one thing, and nerf the same thing for another profession.
So, if you would please, back off me! I was asking a simple freakin question! Relax, take a deap breathe, and think about the question asked or post somewhere else.

I heard that the Dizzy/KD that TKM's can apply is fixed or nerfed or whatnot. Flame me if you wil be it was a one trick show. Apply the KD/dizzy, then spam away.
Us Carbineers cannot do a guaranteed KD/Dizzy. 1/20 chance. if that. less if you concider the 8 shots to apply a dizzy and then another 3-4 charge shots. however. as master sword with carb i am now able to chargeshot and then dizzy. I did it to a TKM last night he was not a happy person.
I do not like to see any class nerfed but in all reality if you have to depend on one move to win in PVP, then you need to think of a new class. I was a TKM long ago. But you have to evolve with combat to survive.

Apparently it now does one or the other. Either it KD's or it Dizzys but it no longer does both.
Rendo, you must have read something into Antilles post I didn't as I didn't see anything there that would make me say "back off"
They have been threatening to Fix the KD/Dizzy combo (not just TK uKD2) for some time and it's likely to happen in publish8 as they are looking at fixing/rebalancing "Combination stacking"
Why this happened to KD2 in Pub7 I have no idea. Or should I say, why this happened and no details on it were released I have no idea. The Devs like their little secrets, it would seem.
I agree that this needed changing, if they are gonna fix the KD/Dizzy combo's but I'd expect them to change it for something useful, like KD that gives the opponent only half his Defense Vs Knockdown to resist...considering this is highest rated KD in the game I would say that would be fair....But don't expect anything so reasonable, look at Warcry for example.

You must not have ever been a Carbineer.
Even with the fixed specials, Carbineer's Fullautoarea2 and Chargeshot2 have low chance to apply modifiers. Last I heard, both FAA2 and CS2 have 30% chance to apply stats. Unarmedknockdown2 on the other hand, has a 75% chance to apply.
In any case, I'm not advocating a TKM nerf, but I think your choice of arguments is moot. Besides, I agree with the opinion that classes shouldn't be nerfed, other classes should be fixed.

Nothing was changed. There was no Ninja Nerf. TKM's were not touched with the last patch.
This was started by some guy on the GCW threads, who said he tested it. I was bummed then got on some hours later and retested it. KD2, worked the same way it always had.

*sigh* Some of you people are so clueless. The carbineer dizzy courtesy of the Full Auto shots has a VERY low chance to apply a single state let alone dizzy. In order to actually get a dizzy you're looking at (unless you are really lucky) at least 4 full auto's. Not to mention the dizzy doesn't last nearly as long as the TK dizzy. Infact the carbineer dizzy may be the only truly balanced dizzy in the game as it requires multiple shots to actually get it to stick.
Go ahead and one star me if you want...but I'm right.

Also, look at the defenses a carbineer gets compared to a TKM. That's why they can KD a group and we can KD a single. Carbineers (from what i have seen) have a lot of nice group attacks and can throw down a lot of status ailments. TKM's can throw down some nice status ailments to a single foe but have good defenses.

A dizzy is a dizzy is a dizzy is a dizzy.
No class has an advantage over another in landing a dizzy. TKM's dizzy was never flawless before the patch or after. Nor was KD. Carbineer dizzy is no worse than TKM dizzy, is no worse than BH dizzy, is no worse than anyone elses dizzy.

Then you have never obviously played a carbineer.
Never have I heard a more ignorant statement. Sure the carbine dizzy is just as effective as any other dizzy....but here's the kicker: The chances of actually applying it are FAR lower than that of a BH or especially a TK. To claim that "no class has an advantage over another in landing a dizzy" is plainly uninformed.
