i just did the quest for katarn with my alt and i want to trade them to my other char but it wont let me, is this a bug or are we not alowed to trade them? there not bio linked.

It should be tradable, bio-linked or not. Have you tried dropping it in your house?
I am getting a similar bug with the Trando Supression Pistol since today's patch. It was dropable before and now it tells me "You don't have access to that container." Haven't tried trading it yet.

I got that exact same message when trying to dropa katarn knuckler in a backpack in my house so another character with admin permission could get it. I think I smell a /bug coming on.

i even tried putting it in a droid and doing /tellpet transfer....still wouldnt work

I just got the Katarn knucklers a few minutes ago. I have not equipped it yet, it is not biolinked. I tried trading it to my freind, who's a master smuggler, so I could get it sliced. It won't let me trade them! It says that the these knucklers are untradeable. Is that the case now or is this a temporary bug? Please help, I'm dying to try these things out. But I don't want to equip them and ruin my chance of ever slicing them.

It's a bug introduced with Publish 18 that's affecting all bio-linked items, faction armor, RoTW quest rewards etc, anything that requires that it be bio-linked before use. I personally suggest going on and submitting a /bug about it, I'm pretty sure it's known by them but no telling when they'll actually fix it.

Until they fix elem dmg they are not that great anyway, you may as well keep them un bio-linked until then, and hope they fix slicing at the same time, then get a better slice on them too

Actually the elemental damage was fixed with Publish 18, depending on what type of elemental damage you've got you'll actually see a little extra graphic everytime you hit, otherwise you can turn on verbose combat messages and you'll see it listed on every hit.

It's listed in the combat log, but AFAIR, it doesn't actually damage the mob at all. They are aware of this issue.

Commandos have been posting that they get tons of elemental spam in chat, but no visible change in HAM bar (by highlighting). So as far as we know, it does not work.

Yes this trading quest items is meant to be an exploit.
I see it as a way or earning more money
It's a known bug....You can't even pick up faction armor from your own house.

hello,
does anyone know if this bio-link issue has been fixed yet? theres a katan knuckles on sale on a vendor that i wanted to buy, but i am a bit hesitant cause of this issue. did anyone try to buy a bio item after pub 18 on a vendor? just wondering if i'll loose my money and end up with bare knuckles. thanks.
