Found this in the Jedi forum and thought everyone would want to see this!
Jedi Issue #21: Jedi cannot block melee attacks....at all. This is unacceptable.

Thats awsome... Word from a developer that TKM IS supposed to be something that a jedi should fear. NICE.

I agree we should be able to sence Jedi
at least the force sensitive quests are kinda the right direction with the fact that we can have a force sensitive TKA /shrug
I know I don't plan on going knight but at least getting some force powers for my TKM

However read number 5...
They're taking away melee mitigation for PvP. Meaning those Acklay Batons and hammers will surely layeth the smack down.

Very interested in reading that part myself.
I wonder if a Master TKA/Fencer would be something a pureJedi would fear?
Also would a TKA/Jedi be better than a TKA/Fencer?
Interesting stuff.

If they take away melee mitigation that means that everyone looses it. No big loss in my opinion. I have faith that the Devs will do a good job of balancing PvP.
I would think that Range mitigation would be taken away if Melee mitigationis taken away.
I wonder if TKs will be getting any Jedi defence mods...

If they remove mitigation, there are many many weapons out there of acklay design that are so insane at speed-cap damage, it tips the balance dramatically.

Ultimate anti-jedi TKM combo using Jedi skills. Note that this would take a while to achieve, and you'd probably have to earn some lightsaber to gain xp faster, then surrender it after you finished this template:
TKM
Melee speed FS boxes
Melee accuracy FS boxes
Melee and ranged defense FS boxes
Vehicle control FS boxes
Survival FS boxes
Master Defender Jedi
0402 Enhancer Jedi
Which leaves 3 skill points left which you can spend on 3 FS boxes.
What this combo gives you:
TKA skills
Over the cap melee/ranged defense
Natural State resistance
Natural Force power resistance
An Additional +45 Jedi toughness which is like TKA toughness except to all damage but lightsaber
Force Armor 2 which is like a resist all Composite armor
Force Feedback 2 which reflects some force power damage back at the attacker
Force Absorb 2 which lets you absorb force from force attacks used on you
Force Shield 1 which grants you extra shielding vs force powers
Channel force which lets you channel force from your regular ham in emergencies
And Avoid incap from master defender which lets you keep fighting with no ham so long as you have force to drain from
Add into all this the defenses from tka, force of will, power boost, and the ability to self heal your wounds/poison/etc, and you have the ultimate tka. Your defenses will be about on par with a master saber/defender/0404 enhancer, you won't have armor durability or encumbrance to hamper you, you'll be able to self heal all your wounds, and you will have the melee abilities that are a jedi's weakest point.
For tka dabblers, I can't see a better combo.

I didn't post it to taunt Jedi.
Im just glad that we finally get some insight into how the Devs view our profession.
